  1. They are a straight fit but they probably won't lower enough if you want the car to sit low. Using the 4wd topmounts will help. Or buy Meister ep85 specific ones.
  2. theres another guy up north here who ran a bigger turbo on his forged ep95. says it was 400hp. destroyed two blitz active clutches with dry launches but drivetrain remained intact. he changed gear ratios way upward too. claimed the half shafts in the rear diff looked the weak point. from what ive seen of viscous couplings its accident damage from hitting things underneath or just leaking from rust or age that kills them, not power.
  3. the ep95 transmission is essentially identical to the ep85. even the 4wd yaris(vitz) uses the same stuff so they got it right first time. part numbers are different tho. mine was at one point last year running 312 hp and launching repeatedly in the dry. weejohn was running nitrous so probably had even more hp. one or two people seem to have had to replace the viscous coupling but i cant seem to break anything.
  4. same here mate, i lowered an ep82, bought a panhard rod then sold it straight away when i found out the wheels were still where they should be. my ep85 is currently lowered a fair bit and no messing underneath required
  5. yes it will work but might be a bit close to your dash on 1st,3dr and 5th gears
  6. nice work, do i take from that document that cusco did the work themselves? translation pretty ropey.
  7. 6 speed box is a good option but seen them go over 200bhp, soft box compared to gt or 4wd one.
  8. i know what you mean, ep85 seems to feel more planted. i have some spare drivetrain bits and lifted the back axle into the garage yesterday, it weighs a ton! think more weight at the back helps the handling as a gt is very front biased.
  9. its not 5th gear that makes it short, its the final drive. 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th are the same as a gt. 1st is different tho, i put a gt 1st gear into mine. kept the lower gears tho, i prefer them. spuddy pulled 165mph in 5h on a gt std gearset so i think they are over-geared, but depends what you prefer.
