so the first drive looms and all be it a short 1, id like to know the proper settin for my SR. TD04....im wantin to run .8 bar of boost, so what do i need to set it at to keep everythin ryt? yet again, no bullshit. only from experience or current setups, thanx.

when i done my pikey fix to it there was still a wee gap lettin in a bit of air! so i couldnt be fucked re-doin it, sooooooo bucketep has kindly givin me a workin inlet/tb with no leaks lol fittin 2moz :-)

cheeky bastards lol there was a tiny wee leak left so i cudnt b fucked anymore and ma wee knight in sparklin green armour (bucketep) gave me an intake that works without repair lol fittin 2moz

i found my problem, TB gasket was non existant. hav u covered the TB with your hand to see if it cuts out?

i love your honesty lol the 1st gasket i made was too thin but when i used it and again covered the TB with my hand, it finally started to struggle for air, so im hopin the MUCH thicker 1 I've made combined with sealant, will do the trick!! im eatin breakfast just now and goin out to try startin her again. i decided to leave the sealant to dry over nyt for good measure. so update shortly.....

well its defo proper thick now bud, AND the use of sealant. hope to fuck when i start it 2moz that it sounds the way it shud! if not im just gona use bucketep's 1 that hes offered me to use. thatl fuckin sort it lol

the original gasket i cut out was too thin. however when usin the thinner 1 when i covered the throttlebody the engine, for the first time, started strugglin to breathe which tells me that its defo that!so hence me makin thicker 1s! the new gaskets r on,ultrathick,also found some loctite sealant shit that I've fucked on there for good measure so I've left it to dry. streets very dark now so will start her up 2moz mornin wen i get up and hope this is the end of it. but wen i put the thin 1 on and blocked the TB it defo for the 1st time ever,started strugglin so im hopin the much thicker diy gasket is the solution. defo a massive step in the right direction
