  2. NO TB GASKET AND NEXT TO NO SEALANT WHATSO EVER!! PREVIOUS INLET/TB OWNERS A CUNT! POTENTIALLY, THIS IS THE END OF MY PROBLEM!!!

  4. but wer the hell do i start sprayin?every vac pipe? TB gasket? never done this before so bit in the dark bout this procedure tbh mate

  6. well im goin out to 1st check the idle control valve to see if the seal on that is ok then take off each vac pipe 1 at a time and check for splits or holes etc
  7. 1s i had wer just a small companies springs that i bought for the old SR and the drop ended up much more than 40mm, was fuckin brilliant! handled like she was on rails!

  10. aye ano mate, its a wee thing thats proper pissin me off! im headin out to have another look at it shortly! il take a vid and pictures n update this. i wont be as disappointed about missin JAE if i get this thing runnin right because then i wont need to rush anythin anymore n put her on the road start of nxt month,which in turn will give me time to smarten up the rolla for sale!

  12. love a white SR ;-) youll pick yourself up 40mm lowerin springs off ebay for about 70quid mate,better than the TTE 1s tbh.

SAD NEWS. she will not be makin JAE as the airleak is still very much present after changin the inlet gasket. words cant describe my disappointment. but il crack on regardless n keep at it to see what it is and get the bodywork done. at this stage im very VERY frustrated but unlike some who have gave up, i will get this done even if it kills me.
  16. coolant system full. wax sensor thingy,blocked it and it still does the same. no leaks around the TB gasket. il check the rubber seal on the ICV 2moz. cracked head.....defo not.its minted.
  17. changed the inlet gasket and STILL she idles all over the place. blocked the throttlebody and it still doesnt cut out. therefore,an air leak! i need to no what else could be causin this please as words fail me to describe my frustration at this fuckin problem! would a fucked idle control valve cause this? please please,i dont want ANY stupid suggestions, only hard factual info that leads to the resolution of this pish. cheers in advance
