What size discs do they use? It looks like you have 16's I dont want anything over 285mm really, I like my 15's!! Edit I should really pay more attention, you have 16's at the front.

Lol have a look at the course they run a Brooklands. Has very close connections to Brookes, and you can go straight into my final year at Uni after doing the HND at Brooklands.

The only ones on mine that were really stiff were the turbo studs to the manifold. But if you can get the manifold and turbo off in one, you can clamp the manifold in a vice and use a massive spanner on them. WD40 works well.

Its so much easier if you take the turbo off! I tried to do mine without removing the turbo and it was just too much of a ballache.

is it made out of 301 stainless buy any chance? 301 stainless isnt ideal for hi temp applications (ie a manifold) and considering you had it heat wrapped that just meant that your EGT's were even higher. I wouldnt bother with the rap untill you get a new manifold made ouf of 321 stainless which is much better suited to high temperature applications.

some guy in a focus ST said my car was a micra with an electric dump valve... i laughed and told him to get some decent power out of his 2.5 turbo
