What size discs do they use?
It looks like you have 16's I dont want anything over 285mm really, I like my 15's!!
Edit I should really pay more attention, you have 16's at the front.

Pictures of my cracked manifold... yummy

Right, my name is Fred I live in Salisbury Wiltshire. I am a student at Oxford Brookes Uni doing motorsport engineering
I own a white glanza.
Here it is.
Spec is as follows:
HKS Mushroom air filter
HKS actuator set to 12 psi
Janspeed custom 2.5" bore cat back exhaust
4-1 tubular manifold (bought from siklimat off here)
TEIN coilovers
OZ super tourismo WRC wheels 15"
Whiteline rear ARB
Toy tuning pillar gauge mounting pod
Autogauge boost and oil temp gauge
Concealed turbo timer
Next on the list:
TD04 hybrid
de cat
FMIC
Megasquirt engine management
Aqua mist
Some sort of big brakes (unsure yet as to Wilwood's or R32 Skyline set up)
Maybe some gas....
I plan on running launch control and flat shift with the MS1, should minimise and lag form the turbine.
Anyways enough chat, some more pics.

The only ones on mine that were really stiff were the turbo studs to the manifold.
But if you can get the manifold and turbo off in one, you can clamp the manifold in a vice and use a massive spanner on them.
WD40 works well.
-
Its so much easier if you take the turbo off!
I tried to do mine without removing the turbo and it was just too much of a ballache.
-
is it made out of 301 stainless buy any chance?
301 stainless isnt ideal for hi temp applications (ie a manifold) and considering you had it heat wrapped that just meant that your EGT's were even higher.
I wouldnt bother with the rap untill you get a new manifold made ouf of 321 stainless which is much better suited to high temperature applications.

some guy in a focus ST said my car was a micra with an electric dump valve... i laughed and told him to get some decent power out of his 2.5 turbo

im going, expect to see a while EP91 in the car park.

What current mods do you have?
Fitting a fuel cut defender will lift the fuel cut but its not a good thing unless you have fueling mods to prevent it from running lean.
