  1. There are actually mildly aggressive people driving Picanto's? That must have been quite funny.

On the flip side, if someone asked me "what's my fucking problem?" Well, er.. I'd kinda leave them to it, then they can decide what their own problem is.

  2. Sorry, but I completely disagree with the "yellowish" and "won't see any benefit from wax on white" comments.

Sealants can provide their own finish anyway, so I wouldn't say don't go down that route. In fact, if you wanted a sealant you sound pretty lazy so you might aswell spend a bit of money, use Ceramishield and get 2-odd years protection.

  3. For a general wash, post-detail I'll always use the following technique:

Snow foam entire car, inc. wheels and arches

Use recommend dwell time for specific foam, blast all foam off including arches, wheels and hard to reach areas

Fill up two buckets with warm water, one with Dodo Juice Born to Be Mild, the other with just plain water

I use an EZBrush to get right inside the wheels, and an old mitt to clean the surface of them. I always ensure I've used Planet Polish Seal & Shine on the wheels, this is a sealant which makes maintenance of them stupidly easy.

For the car I use CarPro Wash Mitt (by far the best wash mitt out there) and using the two bucket method go over the top parts of the body, if car has been washed recently then I'll go over the bottom parts at the end with the same mitt. If the car is moderately/heavily soiled I'll use a different mitt to clean the bottom parts

Once car is washed, I'll take the adapter off the end of the hose so that you have an open stream of water (if you have any wax on your car, this is a HUGE help.) What this does is instead of making the water bead, it sheets so it will all run off your car. If done properly you'll be left with next to no water remaining on the car.

I'll then get a drying towel with good pile (there are many out there) and without applying pressure remove the very small amount of water that remains. Provided the car has been waxed you can normally take the "dab" approach, this means you won't be inflicting swirls onto the paintwork since you are literally just touching the water area and allowing it to be collected. If the car hasn't been waxed recently and a large amount of water remains, I normally lay the towel down flat and pull it from one end so that there's as little pressure there as possible.

I normally give the car a spray with Zaino Z8 afterwards which is a spray sealant which helps protect the wax layer until the next wash.

  4. Still sad that I never got to see that in the flesh.

Noone ever did, tbh I'm pretty sure it was all a lie. Also, I got a Veyron after my Starlet, but it was too fast etc so I sold it.

As for the MX5, (you cock loving hairdresser) I'm more impressed here than when you were telling me the other day, it actually looks quite decent for a pile of shit.

If I wouldn't have a mouthful of flies afterwards I'd actually be quite looking forward to being a passenger for blaps.

I'm rather impressed that you didn't spend about 4 hours getting sidetracked talking about aerodynamics etc yet aswell, keep it up.

  5. I was in touch with the owner on here for a while, I kept the message in my PM's and it seems to have been automatically deleted at some point which is really annoying.

I'd like to know what the deal is with it these days, I miss it and I'm curious as to whether it's still looking awesome or whether it's been ruined.

For those of you that don't know it, the plate is N617 AMS

i have love for your face.

    and your dear hat!!!!!

    Phil.

Okay, I'll forgive you. In fact, I'll give you some sweet lovin' again, but you have to beg for it this time.

Also, the M3 isn't so sexy when you get overly excited, I miss Starlet tyre prices/running costs.

I've got a bracket here too. Would have done the job nicely.

Sometimes Billhugs don't go far enough and I actually have to send out an apology and feel bad... So... :give_rose: Sowwie.

lol no no, there is no issue.

bildo and us guys go way back, this is just how we banter.

    he says he'll touch me.

i'll say i love his perrrty face.

thats just our bildo! bildo made JAE 2010. fact. ask Bower, bildo made it!

    Phil.

Phil is right, although I'm being all nasty to him in the hope that the 'treat them mean, keep them keen' technique works.

    'Touch' you? Ha, right.

If this counts as touching, then yes:

  7. Oh and here comes Nanglebadger to piss all over my sale. I'm never raping you again now, you dirty bastard.

I've noticed UKSC is generally full of trolls these days in my brief return, so I'll just feed them a little bit and hope they go away.

Much is a bracket worth? Any pics? Think i've got 1 here :)

    Sorry, you must be wrong.

The chances of finding JUST a bracket sans top part....zilch!

You have more chance of finding Hitler still alive and living in the Andes.

  8. Item Condition: Used

    Price & Conditions: £25

Item Description: I have tried my best to show the condition in the pictures, I'm no photographer, it could do with a little cleanup as it's been laying around for a while. If it was given a quick wet vac I'm sure it'd look much better.

The reason I've said Starlet armrest is I have no idea if it's for a GT or Glanza, I'm pretty sure it's a Glanza one. I got it without the bracket and I'm now selling it in the same way!

If the price is high, let me know, I couldn't find another one to compare it with and last time I checked the armrest with bracket were going for big money.

  9. If what I accidentally stumbled upon a couple of weeks ago is the same crowd, (and based on the "streetcarzyo" assumption it will be) 'Chavfest' would be an understatement.

I was out just having a nice relaxing drive, get to the seafront, think "ah it won't be too bad" then by the time I'm stuck in the one way system I realise it actually is. It took me about an hour and a half to get from one side of the poxy seafront to the other. There was THE chavviest Saxo I've seen in recent years in front of me, who was probably the most annoying c*nt on the planet. When I got stuck behind him the car was yellow, by the time we were at the other end it was a creamy colour. It turned into a Saxo Bukkake with all da rudeboiz gettin well exited n ting.

On a more positive note, some of the cars literally made me laugh out loud. I'd much rather sit on Barryboys than spend time and petrol venturing down there though personally.

Oh, and for those of you who use the A13, watch out as there WILL be a lot of radar guns out trying to catch the pesky feckers.

  10. Bit off-topic I know, apologies, but I've been let down at the last minute for my Playoff final ticket so I'm desperately trying anywhere I can think of!

Willing to pay good money, please contact me on here if you know of any going.

Must be in the West Ham end please, willing to travel to get the ticket.
