What rock have you been hiding under? Yeah, it's a new series.
  3. A vicar claims a potato got stuck up his bottom after he fell on to the vegetable while hanging curtains in the nude. The clergyman, in his 50s, told medical staff at Sheffield's Northern General Hospital that the accident was definitely not due to a sex game. He had to undergo surgery to extract the spud from his backside, according to The Sun. A&E nurse Trudi Watson told the paper: "He explained to me, quite sincerely, he had been hanging curtains naked in he kitchen when he fell backwards on to the kitchen table and on to a potato. "But it's not for me to question his story." She went on to reveal other objects removed from people's derriére, including a cucumber, a Russian doll and a carnation. 4. A man had to be taken to hospital still attached to a steel toilet after super-glue was deliberately smeared on the seat. Firefighters were unable to free the man and were forced to remove the entire toilet with the man attached. The 35-year-old was in a public toilet cubicle in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands when he became stuck. He was taken to hospital where doctors had to get into the ambulance before using chemicals to free him. Toilet re-installed An ambulance service spokesman said: "He appeared to be none the worse for his ordeal other than being understandably somewhat embarrassed." It is thought the glue had been smeared on the toilet seat by a prankster. An ambulance crew and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene just before midday but they were unable to free the man. "With the help of a local authority and the fire and rescue service, the man was removed from the cubicle still attached to the stainless steel toilet," the spokesman said. The toilet was later taken back to the public convenience and re-installed. Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/west_mi...try/7704603.stm
  5. Crazy to think water can do this.. OXFORD, England, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- A care home in the British village of Theale should have taken better precautions with a man addicted to water who died of water intoxication, his brother says. Stephen Else said his brother, Andrew, had been addicted to drinking water for 30 years before he died in May after gorging himself on a water hose at the Voyage center in Berkshire, The Guardian said Friday. Testifying at an inquest into his brother's death, Else blamed Voyage employees for not taking steps to ensure his brother would never be left alone with a free-flowing water supply. "I am concerned about the access he had to the hose pipe," Else said. "Here is something with which it is easy to drink a large quantity of water very quickly," he said. "Andrew was obviously drinking from it, but no one took the decision to turn it off." Center deputy manager Patima Silima told the Guardian that Voyage employees did stop Else's brother from drinking from the hose and gave him medication, but he did shortly thereafter. The newspaper said the official cause of death was excessive water intoxication. Source: http://www.upi.com/Top_News/2008/10/31/Man...30471225478784/
  6. In London there are no bins to put your rubbish in at all. Nothing to do with old ladies taking their bins out, these are the ones you have on the side of the road/in the high street not the ones you take out your house.
  7. (Can I have a News section please? ) Hundreds of bomb-proof superbins will be introduced throughout London’s financial district next year. The designers also plan to approach Transport for London to see if the rubbish bins could be placed on Tube platforms. The one-tonne bins are designed to absorb the heat of explosives and prevent flying shrapnel using 'blast-intelligent technology'. Special materials sandwiched between layers of reinforced steel reduce the shockwave of an explosion by at least 75 per cent. The design protects the public from burns as well as ear and lung damage from blasts. The bins, which cost about £30,000 to make and install, will also be fitted with LCD screens to provide rolling news and travel information. London will be the first to introduce the bins, developed by British firm Media Metrica, which is in talks to install them in new York’s Wall Street and other financial centres. The City removed bins in the eighties at the height of the IRA mainland bombings because they were sometimes used to hide devices. Brian James, chief operating officer of Media Metrica, said the technology involved 'reduces the peak pressure of an explosion and extinguishes the fireball'. 8. From his perspective, possibly. His family now has to remember him in that way though.
  9. You might want a better quality/larger photo, will be really hard to do that properly.
  10. Used to work Saturdays all the time, and I know just how you feel, it sucks.
  11. A YOUNG man born with a heart problem died while watching a porn film. Chris Nicholls, 23, collapsed after getting over-excited as he viewed the blue movie in his bedroom, an inquest heard. He died of a cardiac arrest weeks after having open-heart surgery. His body was found by his mum Clare at the family home in Redhill, Surrey. At the inquest she asked pathologist Dr Mary Sheppard, who examined Chris after his death, whether the heart attack was brought on by the film. She said: “Christopher was watching a blue movie when I found him. Source: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1876715.ece
  12. Yup, pretty sure they do still make the 'original' VW Campers, in Brazil iirc.
  13. Probably just the angle of the photo. I very much doubt both the Daily Mail and National Geographic would cover such a story if it was fake.
  14. Good job for getting them fitted quickly mate. What are these noises? You might of remembered when you were in mine that they squeak and make weird noises all the time. I've been assured by several people they're fine though.
  15. That's one big install. Will appeal to someone but I bet the car barely moves under that weight!
  16. Until you notice the orange-suited men clambering around, it's hard to grasp the extraordinary scale of this underground crystal forest. Nearly 1,000ft below the Chihuahua Desert in Mexico, this cave was discovered by two brothers drilling in the Naica lead and silver mine. It is an eerie sight. Up to 170 giant, luminous obelisks - the biggest is 37.4ft long and the equivalent height of six men - jut across the grotto like tangled pillars of light; and the damp rock of their walls is covered with yet more flawless clusters of blade-sharp crystal. They are formed from groundwater saturated in calcium sulphate which, warmed by an intrusion of magma about a mile below, began filtering through the cave system millions of years ago. When, about 600,000 years ago, the magma began to cool, the minerals started to precipitate out of the water, and over the centuries the tiny crystals they formed grew and grew until 1985, when miners unwittingly drained the cave as they lowered the water table with mine pumps. Because the crystals resemble giant icicles, the picture suggests it must be very cold inside the Cave of Crystals - but appearances can be deceptive. In fact, the temperature is a sweltering 112F, with a humidity of 90-100 per cent. This is why cavers wear protective suits and carry backpacks of ice-cooled air. Such conditions, and the fact that it takes 20 minutes to drive to its entrance through a twisting mine-shaft, haven't deterred would-be looters - one of the crystals bears a deep scar where someone has tried, and failed, to cut through it. But the cave has now been fitted with a heavy steel door, the better to preserve this beautiful wonder for generations to come. Source Looks amazing, sod that heat though.
  17. Good purchase mate, get it slammed!
  18. Are you a human CCTV system? I'm getting a bit worried after your posts today.
  19. My bad.
  20. Type in Boss on ToyTuning mate, they do have them. Both with and without airbag for around £50 so cheaper than that universal one on eBay.
  21. I can't make it now guys, sorry. ;)

  23. If you really wanted to do it you can actually buy tint spray from places. It'd probably require laquer over the top to look even slightly okay. A lot of people have done it, and it doesn't really work imo.
  24. Think he was pointing out that he had already mentioned to the guy it was an 'N' Reg when he booked it therefore should've known it wasn't pre 92.
  25. How hard were the seats to fit mate?
