yeah mate have a boost guage going up no probs also have a SAFC controller and a HKS FCD (fuel cut defender) think these have been tampered with??? the SAFC wont turn on since the theif tried to pull it off and stretched the wireing

got a starlet gt turbo ep82, piped in the intercooler and with this connected it will rev to 4.5k-5k and blow off and not rev higher starts to pop and backfire. engine management light is on by the way, without the turbo connected engine will rev up to 8k no problem. any ideas????

GOT NEW STARTER AND SOUND AS A POUND NOW!! BUT............... I GOT THE INTERCOOLER AND TURBO PIPED IN AND THE CAR WILL REV TO 4.5K-5K THEN START BACK FIREING AND BLOWING OFF. WITHOUT THE TURBO CONNECTED IT WILL REV UP NO PROBLEM ANY IDEAS???

tried bumping it and got nothing! the starter is fucked got that removed and tryin to find a new one

start with cheakin the simple things first mate like the distributor witch the leads come from and cheak for water in the oil this could be the signs of a multple of small things popping at once. my 4e-fte done this randomly had just came back from a trip to edinburgh had done about 100 miles then sounded like a scooby it ended up being a dodgy connection in the distributor

MY starlet ep82 was stolen and recovered! ( long story ). ENGINE WONT TURN OVER WHEN I TURN BARREL The fuckers hot wired it and wreaked the barrel i can get the ignition lights to come on with a turn o a screwdriver but when i turn it to start it just kills itsself Wont turn over or even attempt to, there is a few wires hanging out but how they have hotwired it i dont know. Has anyone got any ideas????? Cheers

CHEERS FOR THE REPLYS GUYS!!! Thought i would let yous all know the car has been found was recovered in the south of glasgow abandoned with the dash ripped out, cd player and speakers stolen, the dirty bastards have burst the lock on the door and left the inside a bit o a mess but never touched the engine at all and its still in one piece. Ripped the Apexi SAFC out but never knew what it was so theve left that ;) Need a new dash, steering lock, rear bumper because the've spun it and bumped that pretty bad. Also is there a wireing diagram for the ignition barrel available online?? cheers
