As far as i can see (and ive checked everywhere) there doesnt appear to be any leaks anywhere, Ive changed one of two hoses as they was afew holes in them but thats about it. I dont really fancy bunging up the nipple on the actuator just to get me by mate, Its an everyday car and really needs to be right, plus i cant get my big fat hands down there anyway lol. Im confused... Rob

Hmm the fogs arent there mate. I have little PIAA Fogs at the front which are aftermarket but there not wired up atm (fooking japs). Where else can i wire it to? Regards Rob

Ok mate thanks for that, il deffinatly have a look around and check the piping etc in the morning and get back on here and update you. Just had a look at my boost gauge and i crnt say it was 1.5 bar, I only saw the gauge for a millisecond as it overboosted at the time, but it was more like 1.2 bar at the least! If i dont find any leaks etc anywhere then what other causes could there be? Regards Rob

Can vac lines or the air filter really make it overboost if not connected properly? Il have a look around the engine bay tomorrow mate and check everything out and let you know if i discover anything, not too sure what im looking for if im honnest, il just check all pipework. F*cking annoying this i just want to enjoy the car. Really appreciate the reply mate. Rob

yes mate ive got a Super dragger and HKS mushroom filter. What else could be causing the overboosting?

Evening guys, Got my car back today as its just had a new engine fitted, I never noticed this until i got home but i noticed that the car can sometimes overboost by a mile.. and im talking it boosting to around 1.5 bar +!! The car has a JAMS FCD fitted which has to be causing the overboosting and i want rid of it ASAP. My question is how can i remove it and is it easy to do? And if i do remove it what boost will i be running? I dont really see the point in a FCD, why not just buy an EBC and then you can be sure of what boost you are running? Any help much appreciated as usual :angry:. Rob

Evening Guys. I have just recently bought myself a pair of Blitz Mirror gauges and would like to know where to splice the illumination wires into. I do currently have a boost gauge but the illum doesnt work on that so thats no help Any help would be great Regards Rob

Ive only had my car for 5 minutes but im getting used to everything pretty fast.. Have a look at the pic below.. Connect the fat pipe (No1) to the recirc valve at No2, (Getting rid of the Bov). And then connect the blue hose that is ontop of your Dumpvalve at the moment, to the little nipple on the top of the recirc valve. And thats how we do that.. I think lol.. 5 minute job max mate . Much appreciated for the reply/advice sx turbo. So basically If i want to run 1.1 bar i will need a FPR and an FCD, aswell as an uprated manifold, then get it properly setup/mapped etc? Tbh, Im not willing to go as far as that just yet as im still getting used to the car itself and would prefer to do afew minor modifications first but which are beneficial . I havent seen any sign on an FCD as yet mate so hopefully i could have a good aftermarket ECU but I will have have a look at the weekend and see whats hiding under the carpet, There's probably all sorts as its got some nice moddest parts

Maybe they put a bigger turbo on to run this sort of power mate, i dont know much about the car at the moment as i havent had it long.. What sort of psi can the stock tubby take? It could also have the correct fueling mods mate but i dont know if it does or doesnt. Rob
