Easiest way is to run a bead of weld round the inside of it, when it cools it contracts and pulls the race and its easier to get out. Just hit the bead with a punch and hammer and it should just drop out ;)

I got a spare gearbox goin cheap if your interested? Needs a new gate spring (i.e the gear stick eill fall into the neutral position after u select a gear, although it stays in gear still?) other than that its good as gold, could use it for spares or repairs?
-
Just for reference if anyone else has this problem.. Collapsed wheel bearing. Was causing sn eliptical movement in the hub which is what made the knocking noise..
-
I just need the mani...250 + postage?
-
cant feel anythin through the steering wheel.
also the knock is too distinct to be a bent wheel of un balanced tyre..
-
i have a knocking that i can feel through the floor pan, gets faster as you speed up and slower as you slow down, so its deffinatly speed related. if i dip the clutch it dosnt make a difference.
i have changed the gear box and driveshafts to no avail.
on the day the knocking started id had the rear tyre changed.
knocking started off fairly quiet.. but has got louder over time.
suggestions? i am STUMPED and its starting to get expensive

hey guys,
i have plumbed my HKS evc in as per the instructions and since doing so i cannot get full boost?
i tried turning the unit off and still no joy.
i have found the culpret to be the vacume pipe which goes from the discharge port just below the turbo to I.C pipe flange into the actuator where you T off into the solidnoide.
when i put that back to standard.. i get full boost again.
anyone else had this problem? or know where im goin wrong?

due to lack of response, i will soon be taking the car apart and taking the plug to an engineers myself to find out what size it is, then i will link to adaptor plug. hope this will help alot of you out and hopefully put an end to this age old question.
(i went to toyota today and even they didnt know what size it was or what part number)

hi all!
i got down to finaly fitting the sender for my oil temp guage (after 2 years of putting it off). i stripped it all down, got the power steering pump and brackets off, only to find i got the wrong adaptor to fit the send to the plug on the side of the oil filter housing...
can anyone point me in the right direction of what size this monster of a plug is? or where i can get hold of an adaptor?
unfortunatly a sandwhich plate is not an option as i have a thermostatic sandwhich plate to go to my new oil cooler in there
Cheers in advance for your help!!
GO GO GO GO!!!!

yeaaah i fouls on both sides (cheap fmic lol)
i think it would fit propperly if i could space the towing eye out slightly from the outer edge of the car towing hole.. not a big job.
if u like i could supply pics of the problem and soulution?
-
recieved my pair today!!
rear is neat and tidy, sits lovely.
unfortunatly the front fouls the pipe work for my fmic. managed to get it on for show with one bolt and it does look proper
can i suggest the option for a spacer plate for the front eye? would only need to be aprox 10mm wide?
i will be getting one fabbed up myself soon.
all in all, these towing eyes are very high quality items, very fast delivery times, well packaged and at an excelent price.
deffinatly recomended!

Only thing is you'll need to block off one outlet and it advises that it's not the best for oil temp senders, I use one of them for the oil pressure though.
Or one of these....
