i was reading somthing about port spacing, but if you use the original manifold it should be ok, maybe flow the ports and match the manifold for a little more power, along with a thinner HG and a head skim making higher C:R . I really want to do this to but im not 17 yet and will get bummed for insurance, they want £4000 fully comp if i upgraded the suspention a little.

there is a recent thread of this somewhere, basicaly: cat removed keep middle = best for durable noise and anice power. both removed = wayyyy to loud and probly same amount of power as above. cat kept, middle removed = loud not much power increase.

i think you would need a new ecu somthing like vems or megasquirt, you could use jenvey throttle bodies, and mate them to the manifold some way. ask about on 4age and ae86 forums, they seem to be the main users of ITB's. I love itb sound more than anything else, BRWAPPPPP BWAPP BWAPPPPPPPP

wow that took some reading. So overall its alot of hardwork, hm.. have the star for afew years then buy my fav car (ae86) then itb it So have anyone ever itb'd a 4efe?

i heard you can fit an 4age engine in a starlet without much hassle ??? and i know the 4age black top revs to somthing like 12-13k, with itb's it would be ammazingly fast and still n/a tuned.

thanks. i really want to go JDM, i just love anything jap, mainly because of the parts an reliability. What do you mean by tte ?? is it an engine code or something ?

hehe, probly will. I'm also just thinking, whats the sorta power/torque of the sr? arnt the sr and sportif engines the same ? how come they have 20bhp power difference?

hey, a friend of mine called tom got me into starlets. So naturarly i was a starlet sr as a first car at 17. I am just thinking about, how reliable are these cars, especialy the non-turbo's ? Oh and i saw a white ep91 with your website sticker on, in scotland, i think it was called setonsands, it was in the caravan park. thanks Kroozin
