Thanx guys, sadly the wheels will be on for abit longer... They got decent tread left lol, plus still havnt 100% decided what wheels to go for?

Well i have decided to bite the bullet, am sending the car up to TD. Been speaking to them since monday and have been very inpressed with the time they have for you. Discussed a few options and have decided to go for a forged rebuild with td04 and emanage. Was planning on td04 at the end of the year anyway, just means i have to do it sooner than planned. Now comes the longest wait ever for her to be done. Fingers crossed its worth it.

Has anyone got a td04 kit there selling? Pref with a zisco manifold, main turbo hoses fittings etc. Thank you all

Well today has been a good day yet terrible all in on. First off i was going out with mates for a long drive, so checked with the previous owner as to what oil they were using so i could get some to keep for topping up, 5w/40. Checked this morning and she was fine, drove down to my old mans which is about 10 mile all groovy, untill he pointed out my tax was out, oooppppssss, so drove hime got my insurance and sub part of v5, got tax. Had a great day out with mates, then on the way home got to about 5 mile away and heard a slight knocking noise. But only at 1200rpm-1800rpm then it went, i assumed something was vibrating against something. Pottered the car to the closest safe place to stop, opened the bonent and even on idle there it was knock knock knock, deff internal noise. So great had to get the car home so pottered home about 4miles. Parked her up and left her be. Mate has popped round and had a quick listen, sounds like top end noise, checked the oil and nothing on dip stick. So thought i know what has happened, oil starvation. Looking at the alternator it is coverd in oil, so i am guessing its coming out if the cam seals? Tomorrow will take cam cover off see whats what? Not a great start to starlet ownership, so am trying to decide what action to take? Buy a replacement engine? Rebuild this one? Or save and forge her? Bugger.

I have big hopes! But i think i will be disappointed, turn10 arnt involved in this game sadly
