Mine idles from cold at about 2k rpm as it has a cold temp stat, the revs picking up could be down to the fan kicking it? It should idle once warm at just under 1k rpm ish, Sounds like yaristurbo has sorted it though lol -

When you fitted the stat did you bleed out all the air? You can test a stat with boiling hot water and a bowl? Do the revs pick up and hold at a certain rpm or keep rising? -

Spotted a ep91 last night coming through the back lanes had HIDs aftermarket front bumper looked nice
