never done the rears myself, but when i did the fronts mine had about 1-2mm of play in the hub which indicated the hub was worn. i bought a 2nd hand one and it had no play so im guessing the disc could be worn

what was the play like between bearing and disc when it was off

tbh mine wernt that bad, not too much scraping. they do how ever destroy the bottom ball joints every 1000miles or so!

seriously mate your a trainee what do you expect? i was an apprentice 4 years ago and i remember all the shite (no pun) jobs i used to get, just take it on the chin and do it. just remember you can tell the new trainees to clean them when youve been there a bit longer!

just to add they do perfectly. save yourself a fortune compared to most places

remove bolt under grommit and "should" pull off (prob need mole grips and hammer, i did)
then take off plastic inside boot and remove 3 bolts there and the plug!
job done
