14.7 is chemically ideal at IDLE bud. obviously you dont want to be running that on boost etc. n/a's run leaner as they dont get as high exhaust gas temps. thats why turbos run slightly richer, it helps to keep them cooler. As far as im aware most tuners map to around low 12's on boost, just incase you get a bad bit of fuel or a boost spike etc. gives you a bit of room for error. Im going to have a bit of a fiddle later to see if i can get it up a bit more. Also, is anybody datalogging with an AEM UEGO wideband?? not through there ecu's but in some external software? is so which software are you using?? ive tryed datalogging through innovates software and its comming up with flat 10's all the way through the revs? im guessing it knows its a different companys gauge?

Lewis, not had it rr'ed again yet, im going to wait to fit my new tubby setup need to get a manifold and ill throw it on, and sort out an emanage for it. it only cost £40 for the cans, and to be honest i only rattle canned it because i wanted it one colour for a show last year. the paints lasted longer than expected lol.

Meisters are copys of BC's. BC's seem identical copys of D2's just not the funky purple colour. There all half decent, but you cant seem to get them with different spring rates so its all down to how you adjust them. -
Hey matey, ill be there thanks for letting me know theres a meet on through pm Craig

Best thing is to use wideband and egt gauges. the cost for a quality wideband kit like aem or innovate will almost work out the same as getting it setup on a rolling road by a pro
-
be real hardcore and use rubber weather strip from b&q!

Sorted

Even if its been reconned, id still double check the head for straightness if you buy it. Get a straight edge and check for it being warped, or any deep scratches on it. You may as well just remove yours and get it checked, it only costs about £30 or there abouts. Also remember to buy new head bolts for when you come to refit it. Last thing you want to do is snap a reused bolt or the car to run fine for a while then a head bolt fail. Id suggest ARP's. can never go wrong with them.
