to be honest, my zetec-s would give my glanza a run for its money when in lo boost, and would absolutely destroy it around the corners.... there's no replacement for displacement, as they say.... agreed they are underpowered (considering how good the chassis and handling is), but these guys you've been 'racing' must not know how to drive. 95% down to the driver at the end of the day

Its a Tanabe SuperMedalion Racing exhaust, was on the car from japan. from what i can tell, they aren't made for starlets anymore, and cant find any evidence that they ever were, but its a full system, and if you do a quick search you'll find that its quite a bit of kit..... sounds as good as it looks too, in my opinion it suits the car a treat, i've yet to see one which looks as good in my opinion. ye the rims is just a personal preference thing, i want it to look more jdm, obviously, and there's nothing wrong with the wheels, it just aint really fitting in with the rest of the car, but they're still alright.

ye exactly, but at the end, its direct OEM fitment, nothing needs modifying, nothing needs changing, nothing needs removing. its worth whatever someone will pay for it, and is obviously alot less hassle than a fmic for some people. it doesnt compare performance wise obviously, but its a good stepping stone.

did you? yeah i go up along the a38 to work every day mate, so if you're up there often then you should see me. i was gonna say, i didnt see no starlet, but if it was a golf then thats prob why i didnt respond, plus, im normally half asleep (or completely asleep) on way to work so i probably wouldnt have responded anyway hate that road, prob the worst road in the entire country for chucking up shit and mud onto the car, i gotta spend the time giving it a clean tomorrow, although it'll just get filthy on monday again if i decide to sell em then i'll give you a shout. they're 16's.

at £312 including 45 profile tyres, i think you can prob get yourself a set... but ye, i love black cars on black steelies, they look mint

the rear duck spoiler is certainly a love or hate thing, i didnt like it at first from seeing it in pics, but as soon as i saw it face to face, i fell in love with it... it really is something that looks better in real life

ye exactly, you should've seen the state of some of their evo's..... mine isn't perfect, need to have the front bumper refitted so it all lines up correctly, but the place i got it from is very reputable and will look after me (having clutch replaced for free etc) so the fact its had a little front end bump doesnt really bother me. it runs sweet as a nut and it drives straight as an arrow so i dont mind a bit of cosmetic stuff, plus its just me being pedantic anyway, can have it done for my own peace of mind really.

Yes, the glanza-S, i do know this mate, worked in an SVA centre for over a year so got to play with all versions of starbos, amongst other things. well, providing you declare everything on the insurance then it should be cool mate, even if it aint a real one.

yeah, mate, NEVER touch keighley trade centre, their cars used to go through my old work for sva conversion, they're absolutely apalling, stolen recovered etc.

i prefer them red personally, well, on a black car.... that polished effect looks nice on a silver one, ROTA do some similar ones, for bloody good prices.

i agree completely, but seeing as i didnt choose them, and they cost £312 for 16's (brand new) INCLUDING 45 profile tyres..... .....i aint really one to complain want some more JDM style, but to be honest they aren't THAT bad, i've seen alot worse. they dont make the car stand out, but they dont look bad at all
