you can get a basically brand new turbo from the subaru forums for like £50-100, they dont cost much at all, wrx owners are always swapping em.

nah just the seller seemed to be less than helpful when it came to answering questions, and i judge sellers on their interaction with customers, if they dont communicate, i dont buy from em, simple as. Ivan's td04 kits look to be a top choice otherwise.

there isn't an insurance group, because its an import... its a myth that people think it has an insurance group, it doesn't, it was never sold in this country.... get a quote, then get a quote for some uk cars, then compare them, you can approximate its group by seeing which its comparable to, but as alot of insurance companies give such varying groups due to it being an import etc you can never say for certain what it compares to.

19, with 1 yrs ncb is me, paying bout 1400. when i hit 2 years driving it made a huge different, whereas the ncb made almost sod all difference.

ye, when used in moderation it can look quite cool, i'd have those wheels any day of the week..... pink leather and alcantara would look sweet if it was done well

a years no claims dont make much difference mate, not for me anyway, when i hit 2 years of driving that made the most difference, about £500 difference, but 1yr ncb made about an £80 difference.....

its not whether we like em, its whether you do mate. if you have any doubt, get something else, if you get wheels you 100% love without any doubt, then those are the ones to get. i want those auto x's because i fucking love them, just as i do te37's, alot of people tell me how the auto x colour scheme and spoke design looks liek crap, but because i love em i really dont care, i think they'd look absolutely sexual on my car. also, someone priced me up some second hand (basically A1 condition!) sparco's like yours, £500 exc delivery from japan..... ouch!

as above, horses for courses, they sound good, but overly loud ones sound like crap in my opinion. Ye, 250 quid for either the SSQV or SS is alot of dough, what i was after though was the ARC bov to match my ARC tmic, but those new are like £260, WITHOUT a fitting kit (which the HKS/Blitz jobby comes with), making them the most expensive of the lot by far, considering you'd then have to get it fitted etc. luckily i had one sourced for me from japan with a starlet fitting kit (cannot source the kits in uk). i'm hoping it'll be what im after, im pretty sure its adjustable so should be able to set it nice and tight so it doesn't dump overly soon. price shows how good they are though.

its horses for courses really, the japs generally use awesome bov's, but dont have them dumping at like 2000rpm... nicest sounding one i heard was on a legnum VR4 and was a blitz SS jobbie. dumped at something crazy like 6500rpm and above, but sounded fucking wonderful when it did, as the v6 and twin turbos were on full chat when it dumped, man that was nice.

hell no, thats what the punto gt's and fester/escort rst's do, bloody annoying, dumping when crawling through traffic at like 2000rpm, bloody stupid if you ask me!
