Anyone recently brought a new glanza decal for the front bumper from toyota???I rang today and it was 11.60ish + vat. But he could not comfirm it was the right bit, just said it was a "detail plate". Anyone know?
-
How oh how did you get that for that price? i look every night as well and never see anything go cheap thats decent.
Well done tho mate, look forward to seeing and hearing it all running again.
-
Nah i dont think it is, the person who brought it said he would go back on there but never did.
http://www.yarisclubuk.com/forum/index.php?/topic/47-carls-yaris-update-pg16-new-car/page__hl__carl had it for awhile quite along thread

Cheers Mate ecu as described, just found this one after starting another.
-
Please delete as found micky boys other thread

Yea did it today, left it for 25mins so nearly 30. I read a guide on here which said 20mins.
On the way home i noticed it had change the whole way the engine delivers power, seems like a more constant amount of power thru each gear, not as much lag. Well thats what i think. And the bigest bonus was no eml.
Or right i wouldnt eaither lol...Ohh and funny enuf i've got that boost agauge saved in my ebay but wasnt to sure about it my self!..So ended up buying an Apexi EL gauge wasnt on the cheap side like but sometimes you get what you pay for...I had my eye on this blitz boost gauge but the back light looks realy dull it could be just the sake of it needing a led bulb to light it up abit better.

Also james off here was doing a group buy on depo gauges not sure if he will be able to help you out on getting one abit cheaper then what you would on ebay.
Yea i did see the group buy but fancy one which mounts in the a pillar so i can trim it at work. Just waiting on a pillar to come up

Its in!!!lol was in 12 mins after it got signed for, just the roads are pants and cant really bean it when everyone is going slow, plus i aint really into ditching the glanza in the ice.
Anyone used this seller before
Seems cheaper then other sites for a swoosh one?
-
Enjoy matey
Damn icy conditions!!!!!!! maybe next week i can see what its like

Update, jam ecu fitted today. Looking forward to driving it again now without hitting the fuel cut. Boost gauge next then manifold. Oh first get fueling checked
-
I think i see your starlet thread on ycuk a while ago. I still pop on sometimes to see if my old yaris is on there.
-
Had a t sport for 3 years, great cars, really wanted to supercharge mine. Good luck with the sale.
-
Nice idea but i am sending my ecu to the person i am buying the jam one off....so cant really wait.
-
Ok well sounds a plan. So do you think i will be ok to run the ecu now as i am. nothing is at risk??? i dont drive on the limit everywhere but am fond of the boost.....lol
Will be getting the fueling checked tho. What sort of money do people charge to do this?
-
Evening everyone, i will be getting a jam ecu soon, well tomorrow pending postman pat turns up.
So far engine wise i have:
De-cat
Blitz Panel Filter
Fujitsubo Powergetter exhaust system
Since fitting the exhaust i am getting code 34 but once i fit the ecu this will hopefully sort the fuel cut.
Should i get a uprated actuator next? Thus setting the boost a bit higher? or intercooler? or mani?
I want boost gauge too so on the look out for one. Thinking swoosh tho the depo ones look good too. Anyone have one and recommend?
I am not after massive bhp figures but wanna get a bit more, and for it to be reliable. Not into to blowing turbos or other bits.
Carl
Reading this again i might have stuck it in the wrong section, well if it is please move it. Ta

They take smaller amounts in the hope that you dont notice, say they took 2000 chances are you would notice and the bank would notice. Smaller amounts can be missed
-
I reckon you read my posts. I am changing gear and trying not to boost much. Ie changing before 4k, 2nd light on the rev counter. Looking to get a ecu asap funds allowing. Looked in to a fuel cut but seems to be a quick fix so gonna save a bit more and go down the ecu route
-
mmmm i think i may have to get a boost gauge. Want to mount it in my A pillar so best get one sorted.
Anyone got a link to some where that sells the a pillar plastic with the gauge holes?
-
They still do the decals do they!!!! i want the front one badly. Do you know the part numbers or just a case of asking in toyota.
Yea like you and i said in the pm just de-cat and exhaust system. So thinking ecu is the way then get a fmic or tmic.

Reminds me of my old black sr.
Looks tidy whats the plan then? Dont glanza rep it please. Keep with what it is
-
Very nice, really wanted a remix bumper on my sr but never did get one. How about a glanza bootlid with a sr spoiler?
-
this could be an option as not many ecus coming up for ep91s.
maybe the fcd and fuel pressure regulator is an option

The vxr was good fun but in 12 months it spent 3 months in vauxhall being fixed. 3 wheel bearing, gearbox, gearbox linkages, fuel sender unit, abs senderunit, rear quarter respray due to damage whilst at vauxhall. So decided to get rid. Now have a mk7 fiesta. And my v.
