  1. A stronger diaphragm than the shite worn stock item. It'll build and hold boost a lot harder.

There is a boost restrict in the hi/lo module that you can bypass to give you full boost in first and second just by looping over a wee pipe!

But honestly do yourself a favour and rip it out. Low boost is for pussies!

I've a mate like you, He decks all of his cars! He had a mk2 golf we used to call the snake. because it slid along anywhere it went on its belly haha!

  2. I'd just do away with the hi lo button. Doesn't make fuck all difference to your fuel consumption anyway. Control how much boost your using with your right foot if your that concerned.

A HKS actuator will give you a noticeable gain at the same boost level ( if you do fit one you will lose the hi/lo button function) plus you can up the boost a little. Front mounted intercooler a can be got cheap now a days aswell

    Then make it lighter!

That'll do you for a while at least

  3. Kenny was a gent! Could spend hours there just talking about cars in general! After driving mine he said he said he wants one for rallying ,said it would be perfect for what he does!

My car handles like nothing I've drivin now, I can't believe the difference! I spent ages just chatting away, he gave me some tips on what to do next to improve it and what he could do for me, even offered to have a go at making me a new farb (ep95 one is like a cheese string) and reckons he can modify my bc coilovers to lower the back end of my 4paw an extra 20mm! I can see myself spending a load of money at his place!

  4. I took a sump off an engine I thought was empty before haha! Spent the rest of the day cleaning my mates garage out! Ended up re levelling his floor and fitted some left over safety floor from a big job I done. Im his boss, so he couldn't moan too much but it worked out well for him haha!

  5. done most of those haha!

I decided to convert my ep95 myself! That was defo one of those moments! Did the actual conversion in jig time then it sat unfinished needing trivial things for a few years! It still has wee issues after being on the road 6 months!
