  1. id love a set of miesters but i couldn t justify the price tag tbh. ill wait till the price comes down or until some1 makes springs for them. ill also have a look into those 1s in japan mate thanks for that
  2. fitted the skirts today! started pissing down now! theyve been on for a few hours now so they should be fine, just realised ive tigar sealed the little end cap on to the front wing when im going to fit the fenders im going to have to get it off and do it again lol Theres been a bit of a mix up with the export document, but i should have it within a week so im not really fussed because it has the mot on monday at 4 so it should be good to go as soon as the paperwork comes through. i wonder what plate it will be on? T maybe?

  5. when you tried those springs on the back did you try them on the ep85 shocks? or on GT shocks?
  6. thats only if you cut 2 much off, which in my opinion wont be a problem on the 4x4s. the rear shocks are a bit different to the fwd starlet 1's. the top mount part comes out higher on the 4x4s so there is less space between the top mount and the springcup so cutting a coil or 2 wont make the spring short enough to pop out. heres a pic it is a pikey way of doing things and i never normally would but its the only option i have atm, that or drivie around with its arse in the air as brad says its a temp soloution. Some1 is bound to come up with a shock/spring set up for the 4x4s and if they dont then i will just have to buy coilovers
  7. damn right! knowing my luck id pay 700 odds for coilovers then a day or 2 later some1 will come up with something a little cheaper. theres going to be a market for ep*5 lowering springs as theres going to be lots more of them poping up within the next year, so im sure some1 will come along with an affordable set of lowering springs
  8. i dont think hes wrin doing it. ill prob do it as well with my 4x4. i just cant justify spending 700+ on coilovers right now especially after the money ive spent buying the car and all these bits. a lowering spring kit will eventually be an option but until then this is the only other option.
  9. not the best idea but prob the best option until a cheaper alternative to the miesters comes up cut them from the bottom mate try cut it to the same shape if you know what i mean Have you tried the lowering springs on the back yet? did it sit higeher than the stock suspension?

  20. aye i had a fiesta sill on the glanza, did its job and u would never have known, the guy did an amazing job on it. cant wait to get the new front end on!
  21. after seeing the rust on the sill (or lack of sill) on my old glanza i wouldnt drill it, check my old build thread if you havnt seen it. so if i left the tigar seal to set for a few days it should be fine? because i dont think itll be on the road for around a week anyway. also im after a glanza bonnet! if anyone sees 1 for sale link me up. cheers lads
  22. got some fenders through from idrees, cant wait to get these painted and fitted! also ordered a varis front bumper from him too. ive still not really touched the car, dying to get it on the road tho!, not even fitted the sideskirts yet, dont really want to start drilling holes in it because of the state of the sills under the skirts on my old glanza (if anyone remembers that!) whats the best way to fit them? would tigar seal hold them on?
