Update time. Been busy spending so i've bought some new bits for the car.
HKS exhaust system with new polybush mounts
Got some Apex lowering springs aswell to do me untill i decide if i'm going to get coilys.
Also recovered the door cards. Really nice mod and easy to do aswell so don't be afraid to give it a go if your thinking of doing it. I gotta be honest, it does look nicer in person.

Here's some not very good pics from a show down Pembrey i went to sunday, it pissed down most the day. Just so you can see the exhaust and how she sits now. Still think the back could do with lowering more though.
Sprayed and fitted my center caps
All comments welcome

If you don't want them shiny then matt/satin if you do use gloss
-
Depends really how bad they are. The worse they are then use a smaller number sanding paper. I used some 800 then 400 to take it back to the metal then used a satin black rattle can to spray them follwed by lacquer afterwards.
-
Rub them down and spray them, mine came up like new
-
Well yea it will if you do it too much. That's why shaun said its trial and error. Tighten it a bit then spin wheel. Tighten it abit then spin the wheel and so on.... lol

Got a pic of you from sunday aswell mate

I bought the apex ones for my glanza, cheap and did a nice job of lowering it. Better handling but a harder ride
-
Anybody going? Ill be heading down for a nose about 8 ish

Yep all fitted. Really chuffed with it mate. Nice to get that crappy corroded system off there and get a bit of noise from her. Will try get some tidy pictures up Sunday to update my project

G101 sprayed all over, scrubbbed all over with various size brushes then pressure washed off, be very carefull with the pressure washer though as i ended having to change the plugs lol

I'm hoping it'll be a nice happy medium of not too loud but not too quiet so we'll see..

Lovely looking starlet fair play. Keep it up

I'm not usually a fan of stickers but that looks cool Daz

Hope so Sparky Ive already fitted a decat and manifold so the exhaust is the final piece of the puzzle i guess.. for now lol
-
If a turbo box has longer gearing then surely that would make it worse for you when your doing your autotesting? or do you just want a box with LSD..
-
Car sounds nice mate thanks
Glad its not going to be too loud then, too late now anyway really been as i've already paid for it.. haha
-
Anyone have a vid of a hks hi power silent fitted? been told their quite loud on a NA so want to see how loud their are on a turbo if i got one fitted on my glanza.. Cheers
-
Yea, sure i would of missed it anyway. Armed now with some cash for mods. So much choice though!!

Well as some of you may know i had the car up for sale, so guess i've got some bad news i'm afraid lads.. i've decided that i'm going to be keeping it Had some interest, mainly people offering part ex's that i just didn't want. So roll on some more modding, welsh meets and hopefully ill be able to attend some shows with you this year too!
After a set of lowering springs and exhaust for starters. Let me know what you got

Well you have 2 options really.
1. Carbon wrap it
2. Don't carbon wrap it

Nice mate, looking at getting one of these myself. How do you find it speed wise compared to your old starlet?

No its not mate, bought it from a member on here. Looks brand new though to be honest, i think it only covered a couple thousand miles on his car. Yeah i could do but i don't have any pictures of me doing it. Only took me and my mate an hour. Nice free mod
