Im a bit of wheel whore and appreciate alloys more then what you lot do obviously considering some of the comments. All it does is drags the dirt which you may scratch the paintwork with while washing off the car as a pre wash process . It isnt a nesasary process to do . I only do once a month when i away to wax my car.

You still need to wash it. Yes you leave it on 4-5 min then jet it down. Then wash with bucket and wash mitt.
