cars oil has stayed at the same level for the past week or so, but ive had it parked up at home for over 24 hours and i dipped it before i headed out tonite, only to discover the oil level is half what it was a few days ago, what the ****

cat pipe is sitting on my bedroom floor, i got it put onto flanges so i can put it back in for mot. i used xss hi-synthetic oil

exactly the same problem with mine, burnt 3/4 of the oil up in 3 weeks, i used the last 1.5 litres of the oil i had in the drum and fingers crossed 3 days later it hasnt went down any, my mechanic is getting back to me tonite, he is ringing toyota for me this afternoon as he knows a few of the mechanics

ive just finished off the last of the 5 litre drum put about 3.5 litres in the time i changed the filter 3 weeks ago. and the last litre and half went in today

i changed my oil filter and put 3.5-4 litres of brand new oil in 3 weeks ago into my starlet, i checked the dip-stick yesterday and it was barely showing any. Ive just put the last of my oil outta the 5litre drum in and it brought it up to just under full. There is no leaks from head gasket, no traces of oil in the driveway in the mornings, and filter is tight as a ducks arese. im either loosing oil somewhere or buring it up, anyone any ideas before my engine goes pop

i waited 24 hours on a reply, but thought that driving round with a bin bag over my window wasnt a good look, so made a few calls

finally got it sorted was a loose connection in the e/w

can people please post up pics of the dtm mirrors after they got fitted, then if the finish looks slightly different because of the base plate i can decide which look i prefer better

my electric windows and my central locking have packed in, ive checked all fuses and none are blown, relays look fine also. my window is down and i cant lock my car cause the alarm will go off with the draught through the window. there was a clicking sound from under the bonnet when i was checking fuses/relays if that had anythign to do with it, anyone able to help pleeeeeeeeeeeeease before it rains

front capiper, but the top bolt, its bigger than the bottom, the one i need is 10cm any chance of part number for clips to hold brake pads in also

when i was changing the brakes, i broke the top bolt that holds the caliper on, its 10cm long and 8mm wide, about 2/3 of the bolt is smooth and only the last inch is wrung on the outside to secure into the caliper rang toyota but they are useless without a part number, and i dont wanna have to travel 30 mile round trip to scrappy for 1 bolt anyone either feel like posting me the bolt or at least help me get the part number

cheers i got stuck into it earlier but the cunts sold me the wrong pads, sold me em for 89 starlet rather than 98, must be dyslexic me thinks

the sr has started giving bother with the brakes, griding sound constantly and even worse when im braking so i went today and got new brake pads, problem is i havent the first idea how to fit em and i havent ANY money whatsoever to pay for someone to fit em, ive been told they are relitivly easy to fit so can somone pls give me an easy guide to fitting new pads please

custom all the way, i got a full new stainless steel exhuast, got flanges fitted to my cat and a bolt in str8 section for every day use, best thing i ever done, better back pressure, and mot people cant say a word

was thinking there tonite that the sr revs quite high and would have benefited from a 6 speed gear box. hehe :angry: at 60mph i sit at about 3krpm and 75-80 is 4k anyone able to tell me if it would be possible to stick a 6 speed corolla gear box in, im a stickler for fuel consumption :angry:

id love the koni but at an extra 300 it isnt justified in the pricing i dont think, i got my full stainless steel exhaust on yesterday and got the middle box left in cause i didnt want it too loud, now it rubs slightly on speed ramps, so untill i get the middle box removed i wont be able to drop my car at all :-(

too rite nangle, id love to catch someone do that to my car, but i wouldnt let on, id wait till i had my time after id seen them somewhere very quiet with no witnesses lol
