I havent forgot or given up on this or any other carbon product that I've added up its the simple fact I've been snowed under with the fabrication side of things, with this and working stupid hours with my day job there simply hasn't been enough hours in the day! This said in between jobs I have managed to get a fair few parts prepped and ready to take moulds off, If ploughed a lot of time and money into the carbon fibre so I'm in no way going to just leave it, I'd absolutely love to start banging out parts because quite frankly the interest I've had has been amazing but I pride my self in the quality of the work I send out so Id much rather people be able to say " yes Deans carbon parts took longer than expected but the quality of the end product is shit hot and worth every penny and more"! And I'm sure you as a customer would want the same?

I have taken no cash from any customer for these so I can't really see why your making it sound like I've ripped you off? And just because I haven't updated the thread doesn't necessarily mean I haven't been sorting moulds etc

No you havent ripped anyone off, but you havent kept potential customers updated etc. Customer service would have been nice to just add an update as to whats happening, i havent logged in in over 2 months and there isnt so much as an updates as to what is happening or even a date when these can be expected or even anything explaining why they werent ready for japfest? Some of us were desperate for these. And were willing to give you alot of money for them

And also numerous posts promising a couple of weeks, or before japfest etc etc.

Just stating that I will not be spending money on one of these as they have taken far too long and i could have had one made up myself by now by a friend who does CF boat parts. Im not doubting the quality of the final part and all the parts i have seen have been of a very high quality. So i do apologise if thats what it seemed like i said,

nice to see after 2 months nothing has actually happened on these lol. Count me out, i wont be giving you any of my hard earned for any products if this is the kind of service that can be expected.

but the air in the pipe is already semi pressurised so shouldnt need to spool up as much

whats the features on this, does it do anti lag, boost control, launchc ontrol, flat shift etc?

If its still new and healing, get it gone over with a dry tattoo needle a couple of times, bepanfen the fuck out of it for a few days, and repeat, should be able to pick most of the ink out mate! any longer than a few days your fucked

too much hassle without the shims mate, you will have to measure all the clearences and get them from toyota or made up etc!

Glanza gee, do you have pics of all the bores? Ive been robbed on 2 engines now "built by professionals" that have been ruined after 25miles of driving, 1 due to a faulty build and 1 due to faulty machining, i could arrange collection in london next week, but that first pic of the bore looks like it needs a rebore? the pic isnt very clear mate

Been looking for one for weeks now, ive tried ebay there is one really ropey looking dog on there, and NOTHING on any of the forums? its insane.

Basically i have a 5e block that has been scored when it was machined last. Now I only want to run 74mm pistons from a cost point of view, now my 5e block would be ideal for someone running 74.5 or 75mm pistons, would anyone be interested in a swap for a non-bored 5e and get mine bored out instead?

Really starting to run out of patience now!

id put money on it you have a lose bracket or something not bolted on properly mate, sounds like a metallic "clinking" noise to me. go through and check all the bolts etc?

EML light might tell you what the fault is too?
