got mine on a running now , waiting on fuel pump (hopefully be delivered tomorrow) then off to the dyno on friday to get the fueling check and hopefully if all is well with fueling a power run. will only be on about 12psi of boost though as need to wait a few months till i can get and map my emb. cant wait.

any guess on power peeps?

my bro in law has a megasquirtII he raving about it and keeps telling read up on it it seams a good piece of kit but you got to do alot of reading, he converting my old corolla to a turbo 4efe and using it on that hope the link helps.

Hey mate i would get the boosting issue sorted first, as you would need a few mods from standard to safely run 1.1 bar!

Also the Hdi boost controllers seem to be quite good there is a trader on tgtt called dane (sps) im sure he sells these and had alot of good feedback!

Also about the AFR guage if you get a narrow band guage they are only accurate around stoichmetric (14.7) so are not really useful! But a wideband AFR guage will come with a wide band sensor, and need to be fit in the exahust, just after the cat is best i think.

So far i have an Apexi exhaust system (inc decat) And a HKS Induction kit, with HKS plugs. (crap i know!)

right, i have LOADS of questions, im usually more at home playing around with my 4 pot VVC'd rover engine! so please forgive me

right, i have just got my Glanza V, and have had a few problems already,

cracked head, but i think i am getting that sorted!

But i need some advice with other bits, i want a EBC, and i think i am going to go for this one i found on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HDI-full-electronic-...A1%7C240%3A1318

does anyone else reccomend these and how long do they usually take to arrive?

Also, it seems my boost gauge is hitting 1.1bar when on hi-boost, which i know is wrong, so obviously the ebc would correct this, how much damage does it do running it at this boost?

I also only have a 2 pod gauge on my a pillar at the moment, and it looks rubbish, and the gauges are different styles, i know what gauges i want, i want an AFR, a Boost gauge, and and oil temperature gauge, what is needed to fit a AFR gauge and an oil gauge? obviously i can use my existing boost gauge cabling etc. ideally to be delivered by this weekend! where can i get all the bits needed to fit them too?

Also what weight/thickness oil is best to use for a change on these?

Well, after months of looking, I found myself a white glanza, bought it yesterday, looks like ill be gettng rid of it aswell now, I got it back to my garage and up on the ramps and started checking it over and investigating a whistling that has appeared on the way home. When I take the heatshield off the exhaust manifold there is a crack around the left hand side exhaust manifold.

So looks like its fucked to me and needs a new head! Enjoyed it for a day I suppose, wouldn't piss on the guy I bought it off if he was on fire though! What do you guys think? As bad as it looks? Fixable? Or am I better off driving it through his front door?

just trying to gauge if something is wrong and thats why its not there, or if the generally dont have any with them these days!

Is the car from a garage or is it private? also how long has it been in this country? when i bought my first gt from wrc in bradford they didn't give me any paperwork with it, however when i imported my ek9 myself i had all of the documents to register it in this counrty vat, customs etc.

it was importedby WRC originally IIRC, but its a private sale now, so there is no legal requirement that you should get a copy of the paperwork?

Looking to buy a Glanza V next month when my insurance is up for renewal, Right now i drive a Rover 25 GTi, (yes, they made a GTi, everyone is usually quite suprised at this! )

143bhp, only thing that is missing is the turbo power! Was going to transplant a 200bhp turbo engine from a Rover 620Ti, but for the cost and reliability etc i may aswell just buy a car that was designed for it!

Im going to wait until i can find a decent Glanza in white though, that is the only thing that i have to have! And im led to believe the Offset is 37 and PCD is 4x100 correct?
