Cheers guys well the tuner specifically remembers mapping leaner as the fpr was putting too much fuel in. So im going to change the lamba see if its faulty which it could be then if not im going to take it up to him so he can have a look. Thanks gentlemen for the great help

Cheers its a safc II so it will loose all its settings then so it looks like i will probably have to take it back to he tuner's as i dont want to loose £160 worth of mapping. But surely the fuel map must be way out if its meant to be under 0.3 and its read at 10.7?

Can i have that in writing please lol, how come starlets dont need an emission test?

Thanks for the input maybe if i removed the fpr and the safc and tried it again to see if it cures the emissions problem? But my next question would be do safc's loose there map when they are removed from power?

My car was mot'd on saturday and the emissions test read something like 10.7 on fast idle and it has to be under 0.3, i put my cat on but it had the sensors (o2 and lamba) off another car i stripped for parts. I have a safc and a fpr but surely this wont cause my car to fail the emissions as when it was tuned it will have had to be tuned to the correct afr? (this had a differrent lamba in the de cat pipe) So im thinking more likely it is a faulty lamba sensor? any other views would be more than welcome

Another update, i have fitted a fuel pressure regulator, a safc 2 and a boost controller. I went to the racing line in halifax with the intention to run 1 bar on a standard ct9 but my boost controller was found to be faulty but hey nevermind i had the safc mapped on stock boost and it made 183.4 BHP at the fly with 152BHP at the wheels and 180 Ft Lb of torque at the fly also. So im very impressed that it made this at stock boost and it runs very smooth now.

Just being looking at my wheels and i fancy changing them, i want the outer rim polished ( ;) ) but im not sure, currently they are red outer lip and used to be white. Are they hard to keep clean if they are polished and would i need to use laquer? So opinions guys and girls. . Some pictures to help your decision.
