  1. Item For Sale: 1995 Toyota Paseo ST

    Item Condition & Description:

    Year: 1995
    Model: Paseo ST
    Tax: 0
    MOT: Sep 17
    Mileage: 93K

As I need to carry my road or mountain bike more often Percy (as he is known) is not really up to the job so I am selling him to fund something bigger.

It is a 1995 UK spec Paseo ST with approx 93k miles on the clock and a decent amount of paperwork.

It passed it last MOT with no issues.

It has some amout of paperwork but nothing I would class as FSH (but for this price I wouldnt expect it to).

I have recently changed the oil and filter and the oil coming out was still light brown so was quite new.

It is the stock 1.5 5EFE (nothing really to update on that one its stock lol).

I have recently fitted a new back box as the previous one rotted, it has also had the fuel filler neck replace with a new toyota item (receipt is present).

There are some rust patches on the car but the cost of fixing them is more than the car is worth, and they are not in danger of being MOT issues for a few more years.

It has the removable glass sunroof panel (and comes with the toyota leather carry bag!!!!!!)

In the pics the spoiler has been removed to accomodate my cycle rack (as shown in the pics), the rear wing will be included and refitted.

    Price: £400 ono

It is worth more in bits than as a whole car but my missus would murder me if I had a car in bits on the driveway lol.

  2. Item For Sale: Bride Zeta 1 fixed back bucket seat

    Item Condition & Description:

I bought the seat for my next RX7 but have decided to buy a brand new one instead.

The seat is in solid condition just worn on the right hand side (it was a driver side seat).

I was quoted £120 to retrim the whole seat, so I would imagine less than half of that to tidy up the worn bolster.
The back/shell could do with painting as it has some scratches where the mounting brackets would have sat (also its a horrid burgundy colour!!!!).

    Price:
    £200ono

Buyer to collect or I can meet as I dont really fancy finding a box big enough for it lol.

  3. Hi Guys,

I am still lurking, so I sold my RX7 as it wasn't really my cup of tea and have gone back to what I know best, an Evo VI GSR.

My FD3s thread can be found here:

    http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/89515-my-new-fd3s/

So the full specs so far are thus:

    Stock Engine at 76k miles

    Gizmo EBC @ 1.6bar

    Stock ECU remapped

    Walbro pump

    ARC intercooler

    Ganador Titanium Exhaust

18" OZ Superleggera (not my cup of tea, to be replaced soon).

Tein Lowering springs on standard shocks

Plans are just to remove the Gizmo and plumb the solenoid to the stock ECU and get Indigo GT to remap it to 1.5 bar boost.

  5. Nice example that dude, I loved having a 32GTR until it blew up lol.

Sounds like yours has all the right bits in the right places!!! Should last you years to come and make some decent power.

Some 2860-5s and you should hit about 500bhp.

As for paint code i suspect its AN0 - Wine Red :)

Nice to see one thats not rotten too, bet she cost you a pretty penny :-)

I do miss having one though:

  6. Yeah, agreed. Not sure what to do with the plate, I dont really want to impede the Vmount with sticking a jap plate in the middle, nor do I want a plate stuck to the left or right blocking the oil coolers.

Think thats why the current owner has the stick on plate so a bit up in the air. Maybe a jap bracket that folds under higher speeds.

As for wheels think they need to be matt black or matt bronze but they have just been done so I wont be touching them for a while. Spare funds will for servicing and engine refresh :-)

  7. As most of you know I sold my Glanza back in November last year. Pic below

    20140907_110952_zps527db903.jpg

I sold it for 2 reasons first it wasn't quite quick enough (after selling a Tommi Mak), second was I had been offered something else (and was offered it when I bought the Glanza, just didn't have the guts to buy it instead), and i suppose a 3rd reason I am 30 now and felt a bit old to be driving it

However the Glanza got a new home and negotiations with a chap in work got me.......an FD!!! :yahoo:

Its a 95 Efini Import with approx 60k miles on the clock (no engine rebuild as yet so I am already budgeted and prepared for a refresh)
    It has:
    Radtec V mount setup
    Power FC
    1600cc (ish) secondary injectors
    Aeromotive fpr
    HKS super dragger
    Tein coilovers
    AVS model 6 wheels
    Sanai Works bodykit

So I would say its a good base to start with, I just need to decide on whether I want a later spec rear wing, or GT wing :D

Positives are tax is the same as the V  and insurance is only £80 a year more with all mods declared!!!

My plan is to refresh the engine and port it for now, maybe single turbo down the line.

  8. Good choice sir, I've had 2 Evo in the past (5 and 6.5) best cars I have owned.

Yours looks fantastic, if you get it mapped you should see about 33mpg on motorway :-)

I used to change my oil every 5-6k with AYC fluid I didn't change it that often but you do need a specialist to change it as you need MUT to run the AYC pump, so if you do it every 4.5k that will add up quickly.

Oil is easy just 5W30 semi synthetic and filter is so easy to reach its obscene lol.

The AYC fluid I just used to order ATF from opie.
