Hey hey, well as much as id like to have written about how good my parts are I made the mistake of using toytuning! Didn't see the posts about their 'missplacing' of emails and parts but funny how they never misplace our cash? Its a wierd shift pattern I work but I finish at 9pm on work nights...off today and was off for 4 days to get bits and pieces done on that car but nothing arrived lol...tried to spray my front wheels too and that doesn't work in your bedroom so thats gone wrong too! gonna get them sandblasted and powdercoated when the guys are free next week, my dad has his evo 4's done twice and my mate at works celice gt4 wrc and they came out fantastic! Jelous! my phone has just died and no one here has a charger would you believe?

Hey mate cheers for the reply...yeah im totally bummed out at the thought of loosing my cash or having to wait a decade for a refund for my toytuning order. I would really appreciate the help on modding the car actually as I wasn't sure on the direction to go with it...I was looking into fitting a larger engine either the 5e or maybe a 1.8 carina or corrola job seeing as the mileage is quite high and im beginning to think its had its best. I could really do with some replacement parts actually for mine after all the damage, sounds like a life saver plan mate got an mot soon and suspension was on the list as the front 2 shocks are on there way out which is why I bought suspsension, coilovers purely for the adjustment factor and ride height drop. Anyway i'll stop bending your ear man! I work at hillend ski centre most days so a chance to hear your words of wisdom regarding tuning would be great, hopefully we can arrange something soon mate!

Hey guys, just got back on here to ask about toytuning when I found all the posts about the whole lack of parts, refunds and basic p**s take that is clearly going on with this company! I ordered £1100 worth of parts without the knowledge that they are screwing us all around and now im beginning to panic as I have no parts but my funds have gone through. I ordered stuff on the 27th May and emailed them today to see where it was and obviously I have no reply. I paid by card and im wondering if anyone knows where I legally stand for a refund or have anymore updated info on the situation with this 'toby' character? With this amount of money at stake im seeking legal advice myself and will contribute to this site being shut down ( or toby's head being caved in ) If we could maybe get a post up with a list of eveyone who's been screweds name on it and what their situation or status is with the company is, eg order date, price, refund status, awaiting delivery and maybe no. of emails sent and replies we can get an idea of how big this thing is right now and act as a forumn and starlet enthuseast group who will not be bullsh**ted over a pashion for something we believe and live for. I know myself I didn't work this hard to get my glanza, have it vandilised so many times and get through so many problems to have it ruined by a muppet with a fancy 'dotcom' Obviously as individuals we are being treated like ar**holes over this and not only kept in the dark and losing money but at the same time we are loosing respect from a company that has been set up soley for the purpose of adding and aiding our passion. I know this post is probably in the wrong place and put into the toytuning/disaster/bull section but this is a topic we need to do something about and not dedicate to one area as it affects the UKSC as a whole. I may sound a bit OTT here guys and although im only at the very start of this thing with my order and it may arrive I feel we need to take this by the horns and sort this s**t out. Cheers Mike

Yeah will do mate, its got RSR springs and shocks on it right now but when I took the back seats out the back rose about 2 inches lol looks like some awfull drag set up ...through my driving style ( can you actually take corners slowly??? ) its given up at the front, probably speed bumps at work haven't helped either...looking forward to an adjustable ride, i'll put it through its paces and let you know how they feel Mike

After getting the hell kicked out of, keyed and broken window'd glanza ive finally decided to cheer myself up a little...needless to say this cost me a small fortune but what the hell I love my little glanza v and despite its body not looking too hot its still a hell of a laugh to drive! I just ordered some BC coilovers, an Autobahn front mount and a toytuning adjustable actuator ( cheaper than hks and looks same quality? ) so im gonna post some before and after pics and maybe even a front mount fitting tutorial ( has this been done already? ) I think once this stuff arrives I might develop 'OCD' for buying stuff so I better watch my bank balance anyone purchased one of these intercoolers before and found it to be anything other than ok?

Yeah I reckon its me they have an issue with seeing as its only my car thats getting it...if I was in the house for more than just sleep i'd have a better idea but im never in so I dunno whats going on! Yeah catching them would be nice but its a communal parking bay in my street and where I park isn't near my windows unfortunatly! Tough luck I guess, i'll sort something out seeing as its costing me a small fortune in damage...money I could have used earlier for my needed new front calipers! I tried one of those boost valves by the way and really didn't think too much of it, not the best things in the world and either ive got a boost leak or they dont work consistently! Anyone else had a go with one? Mike

Well the vandals are back in my street! So far ive had my windscreen smashed in, car keyed and dented down one side, panels booted in on the other and 2 tires slashed last night...funny how its only my car though? Someone has clearly got an issue with me! anyway while I await my tired being fitted does anyone know what size V Band Clamp I need to fit my blits nur back box to the standard centre section exhuast? Its had enough and its time for a replacement...ebay looks cheapest so far but there's a few sizes and these things aren't the cheapest to get hold of, especially if it doesn't fit cheers guys, oh and im about to purchase some BC coilovers as my suspension is humped, anyone got them fitted? Any good? other recomendations over these ones? Cheers! Mike

Alright Russ, im thinking of doing the same actually with the whole camera idea, either that or getting some kind support from those who own all these flats because this is getting silly now...its hard enough trying to sleep worrying about a car that cant move never mind my daily driver...I stay in trinity mate, supposed to be a nice area but its not the greatest during the night it would appear...Mike

hey guys thanks for the response....thanks a lot for the offer of a cheap windscreen I did actually look at it on ebay, much appreciated mate your a legend I think however i'll go through my glass protection on my insurance, £70 and a new windscreen fitted so I cant really go wrong! I wish I did know who it was so I could break his...err I mean tell the nice boys down the police station so they could arrest him and give him a suspended sentence and a holiday in malta...err I mean pay me for my window at £5 a month or whatever...oh well, second time round its happened now atleast I can get this one fixed for cheap unlike the quarter panel...here's a nice pic for ya, waking up to this (the girlfriend being in italy snowboarding for 8 days, the good old companion for life my cat being very ill and my mum going into hospital after an athsma attack) isn't something im enjoying in the slightest...probably a good thing I didn't catch them because they'd probably be in the boot, cable tied and about to take to take a nice trip somewhere really really really far away ...Mike

I have just gone outside to find my windscreen has been smashed in on my glanza at 2am this morning ...as usual the boys in blue aren't much use as they are probably too busy trying to follow some innocent car enthusiast around town before pointlessly pulling them over and adding to the negative vibe some of us already have towards them. If anyone knows how much a windscreen is and what it costs usually to fit one could you ley me know as insurance isn't something I want to poke around in and untill morning I can't phone the great guys at 'sky insurance' to find out what the damage will be...needless to say im going to be out of pocket yet again...this comes just after someone kicked the rear quarter panel a few months back and I haven't even got that sorted yet! Anyway any help or advice would be great guys and if anyone else has any horror vandal stories they wish to share post them up, it'll make me feel less alone ...Mike

Hey guys, thanks again for the warm and friendly welcomes, had a few days working non stop but a nice saturday off even if I had to fit an actuator and some rear seats into an evo, typical...as asked here's a couple of pics of my dads car, not a starlet by any means but one for the jap enthusiasts out there ( like me ) ...and yeah, he did pick that colour himself looks prett good I think though. Its a work in progress, the graphics will match the wheels soon so it wont look too 'interupted' ot 'busy' with the colours...cheers guys have a blast on sunday for me ...Mike

Aw i'd love to man but im working sunday and im helpin the old fart fit some bits on his 'new toy'...he's like a boy racer reborn into my dads body! Cheers though much appreciated! Hopefully be up for that soon though once ive got my ideas straight about what to do engine tuning wise with the car...the 'camo' plan is to have it vinyl wrapped in urban camo which consists of blues, greys etc and pretty much do the whole car bar the windows(of course) and the roof which i'll either keep silver or do black...sounds a bit iffy but I reckon it'll look alright and once its got a bit more power hopefully people will get the idea...dont supposed you've got a link to info on running the car on more power or running 1 bar of boost? Ive tried toytuning.com but they haven't returned any emails for days...cheers

Hey man, yeah ive seen you many a time up that way. Alright Gary, cheers for such a quick reply and thanks for the info on meets... Here's a couple pics of my car, not taken a few for a while but the outside remains the same apart from the suspension being a little higher after my 'controlled diet' of removing tha back seats ;) ...the suspension is started to loose it so it'll be dropped soon hopefully once I get some coilovers on it (RSR springs and shocks aren't the best IMO, feel pretty good at first buy didn't last long, maybe I drive too much or abuse them too much ) cheers again... Oh yeah and the front numberplate has been changed thanks to the 'plod' being overly 'chatty' one night and keeping me at the side of the road for 45 mins at 12:30am when im up in 5 hours for a 13 hour shift at work! Happy Days! Just realised my nova's pics are on photbucket too, oh god talk about memories lol My car at confession (could be here a while) ...I'll take some more pics as the car progresses, maybe get some soon seeing as the chrome on the wheels has had it and I fancy some couloured wheels for a change

Hey guys, just joined the UKSC a couple of weeks ago and thought a 'formal' introduction would be a good start ( better late than never right ;) ) Ive had my 96' Glanza V for just over a year now and I can honestly say its the most fun ive had in a car for a long time! I had a nova SR before with too much money spent on it and that was pretty good but these things are just big toys, I'd recommend one to anyone thats had a bit of driving experience with something pretty pokey before ...now that ive settled into my 'Glanza life' its time to start spending more money on and releasing a lot more potential from it (my old man has bought an evo 4 so there's a bit of competition here ) Anyways if there's any 'meets' or such in Scotland gimme an email at 'Mike_trx@hotmail.com' and hopefully i'll see you there, great site guys hopefully meet more members soon...Mike
