  2. nah man not after a short shift just a straight shift lever i dont have an ashtray and stuff down there so its all good for that, just looking at doing a little project thats all, might have to have a gander at some of the wreckers i think

  4. hey guys n girls just wondering if anyone of yopu know if i can get a straight shifter and off what model maybe a celca or corolla model, i have an ep82 and they have a slight bend in the shift lever in the cabin, just after a straight upwards one if nyone nows if one can be fitted easily some help would be greatly appreciated. james
  5. yeah mate i probly wouldn waste time and money on the engine if you are eventually goin to drop in the 4efte as said above do mods that dont come into play with the engine

  8. hey everyone was driving to maccas and the car just stopped in the middle of the road lol, now after some help from troy n tommo we managed to push it to the servo so we could have a look i did have a dodgy coil lead but its been like that for a while now till i get another one (got some being made up). now, when i take the lead off the coil and turn the engine over there is no ticking from the coil trying to ignite and no spark from the lead when you earth it against the tapper cover. ive read that the lead can earth out somewhere and not give a strong enough spark but i thought of this too and thats when i took the lead off and listened for the ticking from the coil.....any help on what next to check and how to check it would be awsome, any help may be repaid in the act of sexual favour. cheers james xx

  10. nah mine fit i got 205/50/15 dropped on tien hr coilovers all round just tell the tyre guys to have a play with alignment and toe in they fit good and better for traction too

  13. hi all im james from australia you guys have some pretty crazy builds over ther we cant really go to that sort of crazy power over here cause of the bill its not worth it they just harass the fuck outta you so ill just post up some piccys of my little beast for you to have a gander and tell me what you think a few specs: full turbo back 2.5 inch stainless exhaust system straight through (better not go to NSW HAHA) stainless steel manifold turbosmart ebc (12psi) exedy button clutch w/brand new stock pressure plate because its my daily for the time bein speed cut and boost cut removed apexi SAFC air/fuel ratio guage speco boost guage 255 ltr/hr (500hp) fuel pump tein HR fully adjustable coilover suspension front mount cooler WORK lightweight racing rims rear seats stripped genuine sparco steering wheel bfore the satin paint with new satin paint havent got around to doin the rear bar yet and with the WORK rims cheers for havin a squiz comments appreciated cheers james
  14. hey im from australia....yer they are released here only very late last year they are big in the drift australia series over here and are a regularly used track tyre for those in the street registered classes......they come in our sizes too for 195/15's, 205/15's, 195/16's and 205/16 all in 50mm profile. im running proxe4's at the moment and im very happy with them but ill move them to the rear when i get ahold of the R1r's. cheers james
  15. anyone tried r1r's as a road tyre.....but there nearly a semi slick pattern might a bit slippery for you guys over there?
