the rear number plate measures 36cm x 17cm but i dont know where they were made as they were on the car when i got them. the best place i can think of is craigsplates.co.uk and get a set of show plates made up. -

cant remember if the bi-xenon kits are boh high and low beam but if it is the dash light wont work, the only way i found to make it work was to put a normal bulb in the drivers side plug

Cheers for the replies, dont think it will be long before i start changing things on it, im already looking at different interiors. The insurance is stupid i was getting quotes of 3K for a turbo glanza rep whereas with this its 2l turbo with four wheel drive and i got it insured for 1600. i no some people will think thats alot but considering im only 20 with 1 years ncb and most people i know pay more than that on things like saxo's and civic's i thought it was quite good

Ever since buying the SR the plan was to do a full glanza re,p however the insurance companies just want to have my pants down when it came to adding the turbo. however after two years with the n/a and the lack of power i kind of lost interest in it. therefore it worked out cheaper for me to buy and insure a Toyota Celica GT4 WRC jap import, after a few days looking on the net i went to view this and snapped it up straight away. the pics dont really do the car any justice. looks a hell of a lot better in person, previous owner is a sprayer and owned it for 6 years. he treated it to a full respray in the standard colour silver with a pearl cover. the car hasnt been messed with too much either, been lowered, full blitz nur spec exhaust, hks air filter etc steve

i have bought electric mirrors, switch and a glanza dash wiring loom. from the dash loom all wiring for the electric mirrors have been removed to create a separate loom just for the mirrors. problem is with everything connected all the mirrors want to do is move right or down on each side. does anyone know how to make it so the mirrors are fully adjustable and also retract? cheers steve

if you can source a set of front and rear evo seats with the runners aswell, they can be modified to fit. the runners need feet welding to them which suit the starlet floorplan and then you can use the material off the rear bench and have it altered to fit the starlet bench.
-
ive got the 480xv on mine and never had a problem with it and theres plenty off add ons you can get for it aswell. if your goin to de-lock though i would definately advise on keeping the boot lock as the battery on the key fob is constantly running out.

cheers for the help guys, can anyone tell me the paintcode for the car in this pic? http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a201/nan...10/DSC_0018.jpg thanks steve

when i bought my sr it had already been resprayed in nissan metallic blue (tv2) and it wasnt done to the best of standards. now i have put the glanza bodykit on to the car, im having the whole car resprayed at the end of the month and im wanting to use a standard glanza paint code. however the only paint code i can find is for the purple/blue (8k9) paint but i thought they were made in metalic blue aswell? can anyone help cheers.

the bench seat defo doesnt fit in the back of a 91 so i highly doubt it will fit the 82. wot i had to do was strip the fabric off the recaro seats and have it reupholstered onto my rear seats. bit of a pain but looks good if done right. hope that helps steve

cheers for the help people its much appreciated, its the 4wd n/a model im after just to clear up any confusion. ive tried most of the sugestions now and quinn are still the cheapest. im currently insured as a named driver with them and next month it is due for renewale and there will be 2 year no claims on the policy. does anyone know if they would be consider moving them onto a policy in my name or not? thanks steve
-
quinn quoted me the £2.1k, ill give the others a go cheers

i currently own an sr and cant justify the money im putting into it as i cant see me keeping it that long. im interested in buying an ep95 but cant seem to find any decent insurance quotes. the only decent quote ive had so far is £2.1k, to some of you that might seem high but im 18 turning 19 next month and with out any NCB as im insured as a named driver on the sr. to make things worse i also had an accident at 16. the problem im having is either im too young or the insurer doesnt list the ep95. can anyone point me in the direction of a decent insurer plz? thanks steve

the standard interior from the evo cost more than £150 lol think id rather keep them then let them go for that price. for the rear bench, the only bit used is the patterned material for the centre which was unpicked from the evo seats. The black material is new as the shape of the evo bench doesn't leave enough material to play with.
-
How much would you pay for a set of these, matching front and back? I may be able to get my hands on an evo 8 interior which i'd probably keep and then sell these. Door cards could also be thrown in for the right price. The only thing you wouldn't get is the clasp for the seat belts which you'd have to swap from yours seats
-
Don't bother cutting up standard seats. The only thing you need off them is the seat belt. The feet are a mile off once chopped and would make the seats sit high. The evo rails once down to the bare bits you want to be using end up being uneven i.e left rail is higher than right, think it's about 25-30mm. once levelled up the front mounting points can be used on the evo subframes but they need a little nick with a grinder then bending a few more degrees and the strengthning edge welding back up. The rears are easy. I used the same 25-30mm angle that I used to level the subframe to make the mounting for the tunnel side, then a piece of 4mm flat bar with a slight kink and welded on at a slight angle to mount the door side rear. The seat belt also mounts on the tunnel side seat mounting point and needs to be reshaped slightly to fit as it's got a few kinks in it when mounted to the standard seat. hope that helps you a little bit Andy(brother) P.S. the rear bench, the only bit used is the patterned material for the centre which was unpicked from the evo seats. The black material is new as the shape of the evo bench doesn't leave enough material to play with.

tbh there is quite alot of messing around to get them to fit but i think its worth it. you will need an interior, a good fabricator and also a good seamstress. i first got the full interior out of an evo, my brother then made up the subframes for the front seats which arnt just fixed they move back and forwards (you can buy recaro subframes but they cost a fortune). then using the material from the evo rear bench seat i had my mam recover the starlet bench seat to match. hope that helps
