Tell you what I might have a friend who will be clearing his garage soon. Fingers2 cross he gives me a little space. I just want this car to be kept inside. Cause to be honest at that price I won't find another st182 in this great condition. Underneath is solid , not a single spot of rust on the sills and inner arches sills. Amazing.

Yes it is a great drive and I wish I had the space to keep it.Hate to leave this sitting on the road with such cold , rainy weather. I hope it sell soon. I have new timing belt, new water pump and platinum spark plugs that I will give away too for the celica. I bought those to service the car but no time at the moment to do it.

Gave the car a good buff up taking out the fade before winter storage. Then applied a paint protector "diamondbrite" to hopefully keep the shine and avoid fading again

Really, that's 2 people now 3 including my 19 your old daughter she hates them:-( I thing there different from the norm and love them makes the car stand out more, in a good way lol.

It's a decent spec car as far as I remember. Well looked after.

£850 is a steal.

Changed the rusted power steering cooler with a gt4 used one and took me 4 hours to get it right and modify for it to fit. Also gave the radiator a flush and wiped all the dirt. Car drives fine now and temp gauge just sitting under 90°. Drove around locally in traffic to make sure all works as usual and temp didn't budge ☺. Feeling happy. I'll get pictures soon.

Loved my gt4 st185!! But that ran ridiculously hot too to the point you couldnt put your hand on the bonnet after a spirited drive lol pretty sure headgasket was on its way on mine mind so i put it down to that! I don't think it helps with how little room there was in the engine bay eother mind

The power steering fluid was splashing on the radiator and coolant was low too , so I guess this was the issue. The car does not smoke or have any funny smell from exhaust and power was great on my drive back. 7rpm gear changes no problem and not sluggish at all. I might also add a high flow aluminium radiator on the to get list.😆

its me whos selling the gt turbo bud, only reason its up for sale so quick is i have my eye on a glanza that has come up for sale and I've wanted it for quite a while. Tbh if it doesnt sell im happy to keep it, its an extremely healthy engine and pretty clean overall car.

Will have the 1300 end of February Tan. So if it's still there by then , ill come pick it up.

Love these. My one was the high torque engine , much sought after 4AGE.

This is the older engine but still plenty of top end power in these when run on ITB's.

I want to have a bit of fun in this first so next plan is fix power steering leak and investigate heating issues.

I have been on the depression mode lately as I was getting out of the car scene and stick to paying bills and mortgage.

Last Sunday evening, this turn up on the drive. I drove 100 miles to pick it up and was very stressed as car temperature kept going up and down + power steering leaking. Anyway managed to get home in one piece and car is sound in the yard.

So now starts 3SGE project D.????

My idea😆 is : Mk1 look full the way + manual conversion with the mechanical lsd. Wilwood brake set up , coilovers and decat.

Then I'll get it back off you 😃

Can't wait for this blog to progress.

by the way the engine is also healthy. Compression test read 175ish across all cyls

Ģot my eyes on a levin at the moment but will still buy the GT at 1300

Silver ones are getting rarer all the time, its also hard to get a clean one.

Strip down , full restore and re paint whichever colour you want. I've offered 1300, just waiting for his reply. Fingers crossed
