Ok, fitted a new circuit boad to my old cluster today and fitted the LED cluster bulbs to it....this had previously blown my original circuit board but i figured it was a fault with the old board...ten mins later at 70mph down the motorway and i smell burning and then I've NO cluster lights at all...therefore cant see wot bloody speed im doin!!!!! The cluster bulbs I've used are these ones. ebay Can ANYONE please explain to me WHY this is literally burnin the metal off the circuit board?? and i do honestly mean burin the metal tracks!!!! Hopefully it can be resoldered across the gap, but wot the hell is goin on?? they run on a 12V circuit as u can see in the link, why are they burnin the circuit tracks?? I really need this fixed ASAP as i have NO cluster lights, please help, and recommend different LED bulbs too please!!!!!! Phil.

Absolute fucking bastard!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got the cluster from Rich in the post yesterday, he does good work!!!! But it didnt wana play ball with my car so i swapeed the circuit board over (blew water temp half of my original one when i fitted blue LED clusters)...ten mins later at 70mph don the motorway i smell burning and SHIT I've NO BLOODY CLUSTER LIGHTS AT ALL!!!!!! Nothin, both sides blown!!!! fuckin LED cluster bulbs must be too bloody powerfull for the circuit! Dunno wot the hell im gonna do...wee bro is gonna try solderin the old one to fix where it burnt out and fit the factory bulbs that came from Rich, then i need less powerfull leds...SO, of anyone has an ep91 cluster circuit board they dont want i'll take it, and if anyone knows where i can locate some less powerful blue LEDs let m know ASAP please because if the fuzz stop me im fucked...i really need this fixed immediately, cant drive about wit no damn speedo lights!!!!!!!!!!!! Cheers for your feedback guys but yeah we all have different tastes, like I've said before im not tryin to weight save for speed or anything which is why i wana go 17s, I've 14s at the mo, useless. I liked the look of Geo's old blue one with the 17s and the 18s on SiCalns looked well too and i dont wana do the 'jap' look because everyones done it so im just optin for a tasty set that'll look tidy as hell. The original air intake mani is best for acceleration?? Thats not the way i understood it, from wot i read on here the corrola one is less restrictive than the original and therefore lets her rev more freely across the range...or am i lost? Phil.
