Just took my glanza for mot and all was fine except emissions.. On all tests the CO was about 6.5 - 7% and the lambda was 0.82.... Both fails, but HC passed (just - by 4ppm!!) any thoughts would be good I'm thinking boost leak, or too high fuel pressure or timing?! It's got fuel pump, fpr, cat was fitted, ct9 turbo, runs a little rich on low rpm and a bit lean on high rpm.. Had a lot of stress with the car recently, and was hoping it'd go we'll for a change! Not driven the car for a month and a half!

Would the company who fitted have done this? What info do they need to set it? Or what would they set it to?

I don't know if they set anything up or not, Does it make much difference? I'm using the supplied kaaz oil for break-in and more on the way for after.. It's just real clicky, don't mind breaking it in, just sounds like its gonna break a shaft or something! Anyone else done this and found it so loud and seem to stress the shafts so much when clicking?

It sounded like something was gonna brake. Didn't even take it out of the unit.. Looking at the shafts when it does it, it's like they get stuck when going round.. It shakes the wheel..

I can safely say, the LSD fitted in the one with the cast/ ribbed end

Just got my gearbox back on with new Kaaz LSD fitted at local shop. It makes a fast clicking noise even at like 3 mph. Even does it when just being pushed.. If I jack the front up and start the car, put bit in gear and turn the wheels wherever, there is no noise.. If I lay down and push/pull the car with a little bit of turn, I can see its like the shaft gets stuck and clicks round.. Never had a diff on fwd or even one brand new! Don't know what noises to expect, and don't wanna break anything.. It's quite a loud noise, and can shake the car quite bad..

I hope so!! I literally just dropped the box I picked up yesterday (which has the cast cover) down the repair shop. I'll post in here their findings after the weekend

Just took my glanza gearbox in to have a LSD fitted and it turned out to be a uk spec box, so didn't fit the crown wheel!! Pretty gutted as I'm waiting on it to finish my car... Just bought another one off a lad breaking on gumtree but before I take it to the shop id like to be able to know it's not going to happen again to avoid labour charge for them having stripped the box down... Any tips would be awesome, thanks.
