how do i remove it corectly? might sound a bit rough but as i might put it back in all ive done is took the pump,mounts n belt off and blocked the hose.

not for another half a year but want to make sure if i stil have the car that it flys thruw i have the power steering removed from my ep82 at the moment... will this efect the m.o.t? what are comon failures for starlets for m.o.ts?

i dont no anything about turbos tbh.. the oil was in and around the air filter side of the turbo... but today i also found it in the hard pipe of the turbo got another turbo on the way now anyway lol

i have 2 turbos... one turbo shaft is fine but exhaust housing(wastegate) is totaly wrecked...barely holds 6 psi of boost(suspect the actuator is weak to) other turbo... suspeced bearings are going..but exhaust housing is in good working condition along with the actuator. can i make one out of the two? if i can is it easy to do so myself...would i need to buy new parts?

i can here it spooling...but then thers a dif noise after 4psi of boost ...then i found oil,my gues are the bearings but i dont no

took the air filter off and ther has been sum oil been getin sprayd outo the cold side?

been hapenin for a few days now... im not 100% sure it is the turbo im just asuming it is as the noise only seems to hapen when im at about 4/5psi... im stil geting full boost and holds though but it whines from 4-11psi dosnt whine below 4psi. i thought it might be an intercooler hose not tight so i had all my pipes off last nice,gave them a clean then put them back on this morning and made sure they were tight. dunno if this will help but on my way home from work today one off the pipes blew off.. i will say that it has got a bit of a dodgy jublee clip thought as i tightnd it to much then it went back(if that makes sens)..the pipe that blew off was the one with the dodgy clip anyone no what this could be?

dont see how dave is geting draged into this if the turbo was working fine on a good working engine when he sold it.. dane should be able to prove that the turbo has sat for 9months and done nothing. stil think a second opinion on the turbo is in order though mate

dan your to kind... but i agree with people that u should defo get a second opinion anyway mate, cant hurt to get one more person to look at it rather than having to pay for an unecesary rebuild
