If you're not going to follow the rules then what do you expect?

Some final pictures of the SR, which is due to leave me in early Feb to join the Nanglebadger clan over in NI! So happy it's going to a good home
-
May as well put this as provisionally sold now, pending a deposit payment
Thanks for all the interest guys, going to miss this car a lot!

There is no way I'm taking a grand for it.
Rear seats were out for a few weeks just to see what it was like but they went back in, everything's there and it's all complete. Good spot!

Desert Sage (like the DC5 someone posted above) would look amazing. 99% sure I've never seen it on a Glanza, been done to death in the US Honda scene though

Here for sale is my Toyota Starlet SR which is finished in 040 white and pretty much standard and unabused. I bought the car towards the end of the Summer but due to a change in circumstances, I am unfortunately now having to part with this car. This is my fourth Starlet; they are fantastic little cars and I planned on keeping this one forever as my daily driver due to the condition and low mileage.
Recent work includes new front discs and pads, a new rear wheel bearing and four new tyres; Kumho's on the rear and Toyo's on the front. The car is in exceptional condition for it's age and wants for nothing at all. I bought the car off a forum member and it was last serviced around September time just before I bought it, having all fluids and filters changed including coolant and brake fluid. The car has a large history file with all original booklets, many receipts and 3 keys altogether.
Bodywork wise the car is very tidy, with just a few tiny marks; the only really noticeable one being a 5 inch scratch on the passenger door which has been touched in and is hard to notice. The 15" Speedline wheels are all unmarked, having recently been refurbished in gunmetal grey - only one wheel has one small amount of flaking on one spoke (around the size of a 5p coin.) Since buying the car I have fitted OEM Toyota clear indicator lenses on the front and 12x6 BSAU marked import size numberplates.
The car is almost entirely original to it's limited edition SR specification; the only items missing are the TTE backbox (as you'll know extremely hard to find one with nowadays due to most having rusted away) and it's missing it's SR emblem on the rear bootlid. I removed this as I wanted a cleaner look to the rear, however replacement stickers are easily obtainable on the Starlet forums.
The car drives flawlessly, and really feels like a brand new car still. The new tyres were only put on due to previously having cheap "ditchfinder" brands which I wasn't happy with - they were all nearly new but I binned them off for some decent branded rubber and it has returned the handling back to how it should be - brilliant! Hopefully most of you know how capable a Starlet is with the right suspension and good tyres it's really hard to fault how they handle. The car has been a superb daily driver for the last few months and it will be really hard for me to let the car go!
I'm asking £1300 OVNO; I'm in absolutely no rush to sell the car so will not be entertaining any silly offers or swaps. No part exchange I'm afraid, already have two other vehicles at my disposal. Some of you may notice this is pretty much what I paid for the car a few months ago but I've parted with over £400 to bring it up to a better general standard than when I got it, so I feel the price is justified
Call or text Jack on 07817 847623 for any further questions or to arrange a viewing.
If contacting between 7am and 4pm on weekdays, I will be at work with very poor signal so either leave a message or text me and I'll get back to you whenever I receive it. Or if you'd prefer, feel free to PM me and I'll respond as soon as I can
Price: £1300

Unfortunately due to a change in circumstances, despite only having the car since mid October I'm probably going to have to part with my SR early on in the new year
Absolutely gutted, it's such a great little car and I planned on keeping it for a while and making it something special!
Would love to see it continue to stay on the forums... Would anyone be interested in a low mileage 040 white SR?
R plate, low mileage at just 58k, MOT until Nov 14 with brand new Toyo/Kumho tyres all round and new brakes fitted at the end of Nov... Really tidy shell, all original just lacking it's TTE backbox. If anyone on here is interested before it goes on all the main sites then let me know

They're £650 wheels Roberto they aren't going to sell immediately, shit look at Ramz on CL - he's had those RPF1s poked up his arse for about 3 months now! The markets dead atm bro but GLWTS, I reckon they'll go to someone on CL as they'd be fucking boss on a nice EK being 16" and all that

good spec list looks pretty clean mate glwts !
Lol did you even read the topic?!

Unless anyone can tell me otherwise... Just been playing around on DVLA vehicle enquiry to see which of my Dad's old bikes and cars are still on the road. Decided to check my old cars and only the Starlets aren't coming up when they 100% used to!
My original SR is the one I'm most heartbroken about! Sold that to Adam Barnard (SR91 I think, on here) who then sold it to his little brother who then sold it on eBay and it popped up for sale on there again about 12 months ago. My V which I sold to a lad from Hull who I have on Facebook, that got stolen and burnt out... And now, as far as I can tell my old Glanza S which I sold to Lee Redhead (can't remember his username on here!) and I believe he has now sold on? That doesn't show up on the DVLA check either
R59 XAW - White SR
N596 AHD - Glanza V which is 100% dead
P814 VRF - Silver Glanza S
Anyone know their whereabouts and if they are indeed definitely gone?
-
Can't a mod just ban him or something? He's clearly a total fucking berk
-
Dodgy..
It's been two months, I wouldn't say that's dodgy? Could have been abused from the word go and driven the absolute arse out of... Bad luck if that's the case!
-
Did you have these available when I bought the SR? Tempting!!
-
Thats Glanza87's ebay page
Legend!!
-
All the stickers are in place morgey but the Toyota and Starlet stickers on the tailgate are in white for some unknown reason lol
-
Its tidy bodywork wise, as in it's very straight and scuff free but is a tad flat in some places.
Routes at the moment are...
- Keep it entirely stock with the wheels, stickers, bumpstrips, engine and running gear etc tidy it up so it's perfect and just use it for a while as an immaculate daily EP.
- Sleeper it with a well built 4EFTE with the aim of making it a useable, strong and reliable 200hp daily still and get the occasional bit of track use out of it.

Okay so I've been meaning to get a thread up for a while now... Some of you may remember me from back in 2009 when I had my first 040 SR -
Then it's replacement in mid 2010, my Glanza V -
Then after a brief spell in a 306 HDI, my Glanza S around the start of 2011
So now after about 7 or 8 cars since... I'm back where it all began in another 040 SR. The original is the one car over the years that I wish I'd never ever sold, had some great times with it and it was definitely a quick one... My younger brothers black SR and my Glanza S never felt as strong despite supposedly having all the same engines, and the V I had never felt right to drive handling wise (probably due to the 16" Advans) so basically I was longing to have the old SR back for it's overall nippiness and great handling. I say great handling but it's not necessarily the ability of the car that I missed, as some of the cars I've had since do indeed handle better (EP3 and Megane R26 spring to mind). It was more so the predictability and the grin factor - no idea why but my first SR used to make me smile every single time I drove it and I was longing to have that feeling back!!
So here it is, my new SR which I purchased from Matt off this forum.
Made the journey up to just outside Chesterfield to view the car and then collected it two weeks later in some of the worst rain I've ever driven in! The M1 was more like the Thames on the way home but the little SR manned it and got me home safe and sound! Since then I have put my own subtle touches onto the car and have a few more plans in the pipeline too. I'm happy to say that the grin factor has returned, I love it!!

From June? Are you serious?
-
I don't want to buy them... Was just clarifying the price

"I live in Australia so will have to give my old man the parts"... Sounds real genuine that does.
In my opinion, UKSO should have some sort of scheme like CivicLife whereby you can't sell stuff if you have less than 250 posts or been registered less than 3 months I think it is. Ensures only genuine enthusiasts are actually selling on the site as they HAVE to contribute to the forum and be on there for a while, rather than just any old joe public trying to make a quick buck! Wasn't it over 50 posts to be able to sell back in the U K S C days??
-
So you want £3000 for all four?
-
Those seats are awesome!!

HELP! Locked keys in car

if you have breakdown cover they can get in very easily using an inflatable wedge in the top of the door, then grab your keys using a hook
