  1. have you done the rear ones too then?

fancy making up a second set?!

There was also custom spacers made for the rears aswell and extended bolts, nuts etc put on but she's still running on the drums bud.

The custom spacers above in the photo are a spare set and the extended bolts etc were gotten from a motor's shop close to us.

I got the calipers over a year ago on parts breaker site so I honestly don't know how hard it would be to find another set SiCaln.

You might be able to pick up a set of calipers on Ebay or something! I'll see if I can get a bit more info on the calipers if you like. :p

    I am in love!!! :p

    seriously! lol x

    Thanks very much Jade.

Your car is looking well also.

  2. Thanks for the feedback guys.

They took abit of custom work alright Sicaln.

Front and rear custom brackets had to be customed made from a spare hub I had lying around just to clear the calipers length alone.

Then we needed some extra long wheel studs and same pattern bolts, so we opted for some Ford Rally ones.

Bit of adjusting, wacking and welding later on they went.

Even after fitting the calipers are only a few mm clear of the rims...

  3. Ok Guys, Another bit of an update...

The Car got mapped a few months back,

Myself and the mate dropped our two cars down to West Coast Performance to a guy called John,

Sound out lad and was well friendly and seemed to know his stuff quite well.

I told him I was looking for the map to be more on the safe and reliable side rather than the biggest power I could get.

So the car was set on only .85 Bar on standard 95 octane juice and was set up only on AVCR and SAFC.

So it made 178 at the fly, 147.7 at the wheels at 0.85bar on 95 oct juice.

Which I was quite happy with so more to come with some better management.

For the last few weeks we have been a bit busy.

With the extra power my standard brakes weren't up to the job and my SR Rad was starting to shit itself so I had to get to work on these...

First I got some nice calipers from a GTR a year back and now with my Standard Brakes starting to go It was time to got onto my mech's machinest...

First of all I had to get some extra long wheel studs. These being a bit of a kick in the rocks to get a toyota fitment we opted for some Nice Ford Rally ones as we knew these wouldn't be likely to snap off so easily...

    Brembo1.jpg

With a few templates later and some sweet engineering the machinest designed these Custom Spacers out of Aircraft Metal...

    Brembo2.jpg

Then going back to my mech he managed to custom fit these baby's on...

    Brembo3.jpg

We had to change the Rad aswell so we ordered a nice new black one.

    Rad5.jpg

    And here it is again.

    Rad6.jpg

We also adjusted the camber in the front and rear...

    Suspension7.jpg

And here are the pics of the new discs and calipers fitted.

275mm, 25mm width vented Discs with extended lines and new fluid.

We had hardly no clearance between caliper and rim... Haha

    Hope you like them.

Sorry again about the late updates but were moving along slowly...

  4. Cheers for the help Rob.

Im going to try and post the graphs up on TGTT to see if any of the Irish guys can help me on where to go to get this sorted.

Really appreciate the advice bro. This could save me blowing up my engine...

  5. I was hoping to break around 170 at the fly Enzo so I was well happy with the result.

with slightly better management and popping the boost up around 1bar. My mapper said I'll easily crack over the 200 mark.

    So im well chuffed.

Plus I used no FCD just FPR and SAFC so it was like a little experiment aswell... :)

  6. Thanks Keirz and Rob for the replys.

Not too sure about the fueling graph as it was overfueling before I sent the car down to the dyno but now since I got the car back the fueling seems fine.

It doesn't have a strong over fueling smell like It had before and its not hesitant in any way. even fuel consumption seems much better now aswell... :)

  7. Well finally got round to getting the Starbo mapped, :)

Is this a good result from the Graphs??? and does the graph curves look ok???

The car feels totally amazing, Really torqey and brilliant on the road, Im very happy with the performance of it, just want to get a few opinions on the graphs. Thanks...

  8. Right i now have everything sorted, no boost creep, no intercooler leaks no nothing.

Only think is im not hitting full boost till 4k, ive been told this is laggy as fook and should be more like 2.7k full boost.

Could this be due to the fact there was a crack in the wastegate? (i didnt know it was cracked when buying and wouldnt have bought it if i did know)

    If not any other ideas?

Hey mate, Im running a Blitz K1 and I find it very responsive. As recommended there are Ideally suited around a bar and I'd seriously recommend getting it set-up properly on a dyno session.

I had the same prob as you, When mine was set to .6bar (when I did the conversion) she was spiking right up to a bar when giving it some, With this I got the whole lot set-up properly to 8.5bar safely on the rollers. She's still spiking but with slightly better management eventually, I'll increase it to a bar etc...

  9. Stupid Aprils fools to be honest mate. Pretending the site is hacked. Isn't that going to turn people away when the click on the site thinking its after been hacked...
