And decided to add up how much ive actually spent on the car EXCLUDING the £4000 i effectivly paid for the actual car in the first place.

    ....

    ...

    ..

    .

    Over £6400 !! :D

Wow. Carnt believe ive actually spent over £10,400 of my own money!

Anyway more to come in the near future, still really fancy a cusco roll cage and need the door cards flocking shortly :) along with a new front bumper and differnt rear lights the list goes on...

Quick clean in the sun then back in the garage ;)..

Also, really need to get the Greddy ecu on and mapped then she what the power output is like..

    Just need more money :D

    Cheers

  2. Well im sort of back :) .. as some of you may have realised havnt posted on here since april! ... but had quite a rough time with work and had back problems which involved physio and rehab ect.. which is still ongoing hence why ive missed most shows and meets :D ..

    nightmare....

Anyway on a lighter note, i havnt really been able to do much in the way of sorting the car out ect.. so its mainly been sat in the garage for months occasionally coming out in the sunshine for a clean .... i have a corsa i use as my daily so hence the glanza has only done around 70 miles in 6 month lol

    Update:

Had alot of issues with the gearbox so managed to pick a gearbox up locally

Obvioulsy i was gonna need a uprated clutch with all the new power so i went for the excedy organic clutch kit with realease bearing ect..

While the gearbox was out decided i may aswell get the crank seal replaced as well £40 for abit of rubber! :D ive bought every gasket ect from toyota ive used for the build absolute fortune but worth it in the end i suppose.

    92207dcc.jpg

Paid for a specialist to fit the gearbox clutch and seal at the same time only to find out that the gearbox i bought was no better than the original, cheers you fat wanker!

In the end i told the gearbox specialist to order any parts ( gears, cogs ect ) from toyota and ill pay the bill i just wanted it fixed and not to crunch ect..

Paid for the box to be removed and rebuilt for a second time with new bearings ect.. and thankfully now its fine. B)

Quite hard to get used to the new clutch, if you let it out wrong it judders but get it right and its fine all a learning curve i guess ;)

  3. Last minute i know but i was kinda hoping i could make it still. Ive got really severe back problems and havnt been working at all, my life has consisted of hospitals and physio for too long already. Ive been working myself up to get better for this as i was one of the first to get my name on the list and i just hasnt happend, still a while to go before im sorted again.

So unfortunatly im unable to come  sorry guys really was looking forward to this.

  5. Thanks alot for your comments every one! makes me B).. feels great now its a working car again ;)

Once its all set up turner ill take you for a spin mate.

Yeah the door cards are next on the list for flocking along with

    - Cusco roll cage

    - 98 spec rear lights

    - 98 spec bumper ( maybe )

    - Rebuilt LSD gearbox

    - Exedy organic clutch

    - And then finally get the Emanage fitted and mapped all in time for the summer :D

Ahh yeah cazza i remember mate! corsa-c forum B)

  6. Since my car is up and running again ive found a place nearby that can map the emanage which is good :)

But i have a slight problem, im getting them to fit it aswell and i took it in to show them what ive got and they have only ever used a plug and play harness?

I dont have a clue what the wires i have got that connect to the emanage are for, they are really long and carnt imagine why they need to be that long, surely they just need to be connected to the wiring loom next to the old ecu?

Any help appreciated.. or do you have any clear instructions to present to the garage on how to fit and wire in. Or do i need a plug and play harness?
