Ah bad times you can make it up to me at fest (hugs n cuddles) dont sell the cage dude!! You will never find another one! I struggled like fuck to find a sunroof v rear cage. .8 will be ok-ish get the fueling checked as .8 may just run a tad lean top end so best to check it if not .6 will defo be fime but tbh .8 is soo much quicker than .6 its very noticeable.

Yea mate I know, I know someone who can make trick cages so price dependant I might sell it and go all out at a later date :D

Yea not upping the boost until the wideband is in so I can monitor it but yea getting bored of .55 bar already :D

  2. I dunno about Ace now mate, gonna be pretty skint as I am getting my exhaust and wideband done the day before :D

And wont be mapped until mid June now, going to see if I can run about .8bar for JapFest.

Really thinking about selling my cage to free up some funds but dont want to let it go because I know how hard it is to find a cage let alone one for a sunroof model!!

  3. Hey buddy, its pretty simple really.

Depends if you want to take the shaft out or not, if you do remember to catch the gearbox oil that will come out of the box!

Two people would be handy to do this, one holding the shaft while someone taps the CV joint off the shaft.

We used a blunt chisel and lump hammer, just whack the CV joint, turn it slightly give it another whack and keep doing that so it comes off evenly and doesnt damage the splines.

Then you will need to clamp the c clip back onto the shaft when refitting the CV. This is really fiddly and we used a water pump pliers and screw driver to get the C clip small enough to whack the CV back over it.

    Good luck :D

  4. Haha ist already been worth the wait for me, lots more to come yet :D

Exhaust is booked for next saturday so will have a few new toys then including my wideband and screamer pipe fitted B)

lol yea Ry wouldnt have been a good look with Coke all down a white wife beater :D
