Well the exhaust questions is down to personal preference...i would have straight cut personally And drilling the air box and putting a decent panel filter in there would be better than just plonking a shitty induction kit on, but if you was to do it tidy i.e. put a relocation pipe on it to near the front bumper or put a heat shield on it, or do both of them it would be OK.
