  1. Wheels came today Sparco lightweight 14's covered in Yokohama rubber! bought from 'AntEP82' on TGTT Very happy with them, will get pics when they're on.
  2. Recieved a standard strut brace today, bought from GTdan from TGTT. woohoo
  3. It's all being checked over before I even tick it over for the first time. Also the FCD is being dis-connected. Until quite a few other things are on and set-up ;)
  4. Cheers mate, Will look a lot better soon and i'll get some decent shots.
  5. I was going mad at first because to be honest I haven't got an amazing mechanical knowledge at all, just know basics and how to service a car. So to be thrown into changing the engine was a bit of a shock, couldn't afford to pay someone to do it either. Glad I've done it now though! I'm also going to strip the old engine down and see where the problem is, to learn further
  6. Basically had a starlet - loved it to bits and smiled everywhere I went driving it - got rid because of money problems - deeply regretted it and missed it badly - sobbed a lot - sobbed some more - a little bit more ....... then managed to get another one down the line Bought it from Birmingham and everything 'seemed' spot on... I was wrong. Modifications when Bought: 15" Sparco Crimson lightweight wheels lowered on shocks and springs (unknown make, approx. 60mm drop?) Cat.Back Stainless exhaust system Trust Air filter re-located to front bumper HKS Fuel Cut Defender TRD engine mounts NGK ignition leads Blitz Radiator Cap Exedy 3 paddle race clutch (brand new) TIM boost gauge Grooved brakes Laguna splitter bits and bobs (momo gearknob, momo mat, couple of samco hoses etc) Most importantly: CAT.1 Auto watch alarm and immob. Then disaster happened. Under two weeks of ownership and the first time I took it to the top of its rev range, the rings went!! Sourced a low mileage engine locally with cambelt recently changed and got it home. The day after, the Starlet went under major surgery: ^^ She's bleeding! .... slight mis-hap, missing the oil drainer lol. Neighbours not too happy but meh ^^ The horses, have flee'd the stable! while all this happened, I recieved a couple of things in the post, just to rub it in my face that the car is nackered : 1: HKS Super sound old skool Blow off Valve 2: CUSCO Oil Catch tank ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The new Engine is now in, most of it is back together, about half an hours work and It 'should' be up and running.... Fingers crossed that nothing has gone wrong Another couple of things that have arrived in the post 1: Blitz Full auto Turbo Timer 2: Goombah mascot for my dashboard (for the sad, unfortunate people who do not know... he's off Mario) Although it's been a rough start, I've learnt a hell of a lot quickly as a bonus on the side, especially as the engine change was done by me and a mate outside the house on the road ;) Hopefully it'll go right from here onwards........ ;) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Up to date Spec list (11.01.2010) : 14" Sparco lightweight wheels wrapped in Yokohama rubber lowered on shocks and springs (unknown make, approx. 40-60mm drop?) Cat.Back Stainless exhaust system Trust Air filter re-located to front bumper Autobahn88 Front Mounted Intercooler Cusco Oil Catch tank HKS Super sound Blow Off Valve HKS Fuel Cut Defender TRD engine mounts NGK ignition leads Blitz Radiator Cap Blitz Full Auto Turbo Timer Apparent Jams chip (have my doubts, will check sometime) Exedy 3 paddle race clutch (brand new) Double Gauge - 'A' Pillar Pod housing a TIM boost gauge Grooved brakes Laguna splitter bits and bobs (momo gearknob, momo mat, couple of samco hoses etc) Removed air con and De-wipered rear Most importantly: CAT.1 Auto watch alarm and immob. ................................................................................ ............................................................. FUTURE PLANS: Cupra R Splitter Clear side repeaters Paint the wheels in a secret colour Rx7 top mount intercooler Mild steel manifold De-cat HKS actuator RRFPR Get the body work looking tip top and happy days

  9. Thanks for all the welcomes, you lot are alright lol If anybody knows of a reasonably priced starlet GT then please let me know. Greg
  10. Thank you verrrry much xx
  11. Actually there is a kensington road somewhere round here, if you mean there aye its horrible, once youve found the feeling and sound of the turbo, you cant go back to a non-turbo car without disliking it lol
  12. EP82 and the only BP garage round here is in Old Colwyn, not sure about the street name, why?
  13. Exhausts a bit drunk on that one....
  14. alreet! The names Greg....... Just joined on here as I used to have a starlet but because of money troubles, had to get rid unfortunately and have regretted it since! Absolutely loved it.
