    dont know where he got the needed new headlights from, he said it failed its MOT even though that wasnt due til the end of november and when i asked what it failed on he just ignored the question. hows your build coming on anyway?

    recently swapped my glanza for a v6 4motion golf as i needed something more practical that my old man could use aswell, the guy selling the golf contacted me said there was no problems with the car and we agreed to meet, i had a good look round the car checked various bits and it all seemed fine to me so signed the paper and off i went in the golf, was not until the next morning i noticed the chip in the windscreen but reconed it could be repaired. to cut a long story short the car died on me 2 days later because the battery was done and not holding charge and also the air flow meter was needi
  4. yeah its adjustable, and i dont have a decat cars standard other than exhaust and BOV, would turning it down to maybe 10 solve this just with less boost?
  5. you are right my mate thought it was hilarious to turn it on and off when i was getting in and out the car
  6. fitted a new actuator yesterday, only problem is the turbos not kicking in til maybe 4500 5000 revs then its boosting to 12 psi. another wee problem now is when its idleing revs will sit at 1k then few seconds later sounds like somthin clicks and they go up to 1.5k its not the fan kicking in as i thought at first as that causes the revs to fall slightly? just wondering if anyone has any help or had a similar problem and any solutions?? car is standard other than cat back zaust and BOV and now hks actuator Cheers Danny

  11. starting with an rx7 tmic what would be the best and most efficient way to reach that sort of power? ive all ready taken care of the handling and breaking so now its time to move on to power. my mods so far are straight through exhaust BOV iradium spark plugs cheers Danny

  18. no it was fine with the restriction still in place
  19. i just copied the tutorial off here, could it be the way the bov is connected up as thats the only thing ive touched
  20. why would it be over boosting though? its on every gear it happens i though it was only 1st and 2nd at first
  21. installed my boost gauge and its goin round to nearly 14 psi before it cuts out ??? everything on my car is standard whats going on also the engine managment light comes on for a few seconds when it happens then it will go off

  23. took the restriction off 1st and 2nd and 100% done it right. but now as the revs go passed 4 or 5k the power just dies the car shakes a bit then is fine. is this fuel cut? my only mods are full zaust system and bov. im a bit baffled tbh
