  1. to be honest, I can't see any open cone filter to be better then the other, some might filter better but they all will suffer from heat soak during hot weather. Best to keep the standard airbox but with an uprated filter, I wish I had! But then I wouldn't hear the addictive induction noise! And boost creep will be issue when you uprate the air induction.
  2. ok...so its under tmic....i'll give it ago...cheers! Might also try cleaning the idle control valve aswell.
  3. well i am abit of a thick idiot when it comes to mechanics but where is the idle screw located?
  4. But if i adjust this would this stop the fluctuation on idling?
  5. Hi all, Whilst sitting in traffic, my revs will suddenly dip slightly and then pick itself up again. If in really heavy traffic the revs would dip even lower causing an irritating vibrations. Just wondering if what I am experiencing is normal? Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Any help appreciated! Z
  6. Cheers, I think I may try that!
  7. Anyone know if theres a way of removing the big Glanza stickers on the rear quarter panels without killing my the paint work? Just bought a Glanza yesterday and the Glanza stickers on that is in a mess, the garage says that they cant remove it properly without re-spraying so they are going to stick another set on top of it.
  8. Im thinking of either buying HKS, Sard, GReddy or Blitz - are they all considered piston BOV's?
  9. But has anyone experienced their BOV to cause idling problems?
  10. Yes please mate, would be nice to compare the sounds. But would a BOV cause idling problems? What's wastegate flutter?
  11. Hi all I think a BOV would probably be my first mod as I always like that whoosh whoosh noise! Just wondering is there anything I need to change before I fit one? It's just that I had a Baileys Dump Valve on my last turbo car and it really screwed up the idling. But to be fair, the dump valve itself actually failed, the little spring in the middle of the diaphram broke which left the dump valve constantly opened which probably screwed up the air flow meter and caused the erratic idling. I just dont want this to happen to my Glanza. Any info would be great!
  12. Enzo - Could you email me the 5efe manual aswell please?, it will come in handy when I eventually get my Glanza. If thats ok, my email is zoen_man@hotmail.com
  13. Well I had one and I thought they were pretty good for what it was, alot of torque and alot of torque steer...lol But yes, reliability wasnt so great.
  14. Yeah, when I owned a Punto GT, I couldn't remember them to be that slow. Well if 1st and 2nd gear has a low boost limiter, what does the boost button do then? I thought it increased the boost in every gear? Sorry, newbie question and I didnt bother doing a search..lol And by removing the restriction like Enzo suggested, does that have any side effects?
