Fackin 'ell!
I've seen surgeons operate with implements that don't look as clean as your bay does..
Must have invested serious dollar and man hours there mate, good effort!
-
Really been waiting for updates on this, looks awesome thinking of getting one in the near future!!
Thanks man! Yeah I'd say go for it, they make a good VIP build for when you just want to chill the fuck out
Raises eyebrows though when you leave the house with your bed quilt and pillows laid out in the back of your Ody! aha

Holy Shit I've proper neglected my build thread!
Time to make up for lost updates..
The optional extra centre console was removed from the black Ody:
We stripped the black Ody of it's body kit and replaced it all with standard parts from the silver Ody following a good rattle-can job.
Movember '13 paedo-tache alert (apologies!)
Got her back together, wipers painted and through an MoT to later be sold to a Scottish chap. Now driven as a taxi, bless all those that ride her!
Loads more on the way!
Comments welcome

Thanks man and yeah aha... I've stripped this one of its body kit, flare and optional extra interior centre console and built it back up with spares from the silver one I scrapped. Just needs to go through its MoT then I can sell it on (pics to come).
With these motors styling parts are hard to come by so you've just got to take them as they crop up.
White one should look mint n'all when I've got kit fitted and sprayed up pearling

Spotted this kitted Ody on ebay and just bought it :
This kit's getting ripped off and put on the white Ody!
...and yes those Lexus lights are gash and are going straight in the bin, luckily these clear lights were thrown in:
Interior
Shagged 17" Proud Connection Jap rims that need re-chroming:
Plus I got some light brows similar to these that just need work:
Comment welcome !

Awesome project man !
Glad to see her ready to go again

Work started stripping the silver Ody:
These are some of the parts I removed to go on the White Ody.
Front fogs and dash switch (should look even better on a pearl white motor):
Front indicator to replaced the cracked one:
Rear number plate surround:
Got hold of some roof bars:
Chrome wing mirror covers:
New un-rusted tailgate (couldn't just repair and paint the original as the rust had set in and the rear glass would need removing and replacing):
Got a standard rear spoiler in there as well:
Some optional extras: Honda air purifier:
Unfortunately the silver Ody was also suffering from a cracked mani so couldn't swipe that for mine:
As well as the rear callipers and front hub:
I then saved some other parts and got scrap value for it so well pleased with that !
-
Yeah they are quite sought after being rare German rims but cutting 'em off had to be done.
Got plenty of parts I needed off this second motor as you'll see in the next few updates plus I didn't pay a deal for it either so all's good.

UPDATE !
So the front offside wheel was corroded to fuck and the shite wheel nuts that were fitted rounded off at every opportunity.
WD-40 and heat didn't seem to do us any favours either so the only option left was to cut 'em clean off.
This not only damaged the alloy but meant a new hub was needed also.
Considering the Ody needed two rear calipers, a front hub and indicator cluster, a new tailgate due to rust under the rear glass and some bits of trim I decided to slap a cheeky bid on this one and drove it back to Sheffield all the way from Southampton that night. Luckily I'd been working down south anyhow:
1996 Honda Odyssey.
Origin: Japland
Engine: 2.2 ltr non-vtec
Transmission: Auto (column shifter)
Drivetrain: Front Wheel Drive
Exterior: optional extra side skirts and valances, standard Honda alloys, rear privacy glass, wind deflectors and import plates.I also managed to pick up some side skirts and a rear valance:
More to come

UPDATE!
What started out a simple task of changing the discs, pads and shoes ended up being an absolute epic with wheel nuts being ground off and rear calipers also needing to be replaced, as the pads were totally bare which resulted in the caliper pistons being completely seized.
New discs on:
Slapped some Hammerite on the arches:
Pads going on:
And finally the goodies start to arrive!
Boso style exhaust?? YES!
Something like how it will look on the jap bus:
Much much more to come!

More phots of the Ody..
Engine bay:
A shite load of degreaser and a bit of effort will get the engine bay pearling again.
Could hear gases escaping from around the mani so the heat shield had to come off and we found the mani was cracked.
Interior phots:
We knew that both the discs and pads had to be replaced all round so that was the first job. However, just getting the alloys off took longer than anticipated as the centre cops were totally corroded on:
The discs were scored and there was no meat on the pads:
We also decided to change the shoes while we were at it:
Arches could do with some protection especially as the crap weather is on its way:
New parts to go on:
More progress phots to come.

I love this bus
