Do you mean the front ARB that bolts to the tops of the suspension or the one that bolts to the wishbones?

just had a quick neb round this it looks mean and i bet its light as hell stripped out. mega really needs boost though imho

Cheers Rob! ...and yeah 1.3 carb is definately not the way forward lol. Power to weight ratio should be good when it's boosted but need a good week or two off for a complete conversion.

Massive update.. got the '85 primed and satined now!

Primer going on

Rolled her outside and wet and dried her ready for the first coat of satin

First coat of satin

The rear bumper needed loads of prep as it had chips out of it that needed filling and cracked paint...

Second coat of primer on the rear bumper

Satined the LiveSports rear splitter and rear bumper

The side skirts were in a sorry state as well, but nothing fibre glass and plenty of filler couldn't fix

Only when the skirts were bang-on did they get primed and then satined

Primed the arch trim and fuel filler cap

The front bumper was next

...couldn't wait to assemble it all and see the outcome

Few problems; the arches had to be Omi-sealed on and clamped over night and the odd accident happened

As the light wiring loom is different for the '85 to the GT, the quadlights couldn't go in until the engine conversion is done. So ended up with satin quadlight covers and grill on a white GT lol but on the upside I reckon it looks the shiz

Now the '85 is fully assembled - what a slag she looks... Enjoy!
