Some teaser shots for you Phil, i will take some pics of the car on saturday as i am having to use it for work at the minute and it is minging.
-
Well my wheels arrived today so when i got home from work i fitted them, i am so chuffed with them, they look so much better than the BBS ones. I will get some pics up of the wheels later but it is too dark to get any decent ones of them fitted.
-
Cool, i love wire tucked engines they look so clean. You will have to get some more pics up.
-
Have you thought about trying to put your induction kit towards the front of the engine, or make a heat shield for it? cant be sucking in much cold air right next to the exhaust manifold.
-
Nice sleeper mate, bet you have shocked a few people lol
-
Wow that is looking amazing now Phil, about time this car had the go to match the show
-
HOW MUCH?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
holy shite!
Phil.
Yeah i got quiet a shock as well Phil, but there is no point skimping on tyres as they are what will hopefully keep me on the road over winter lol
-
Great wheel choice. Will look the nutzzzzzz!
Cheers mate just ordered my rear tyres, £471 for 2 x 275 18 35 michelin pilot sport 2's
-
But.. but but but.. I like the BBS'
They are a nice choice, but I think I have a thing for BBS now
Well £1800 and you can have them
-
Thanks Sparky, hopefully should have them the week after next so will post some pics up once they are on.
-
Well i have decided to sell my BBS alloys as they are too small but to replace them i have just bought these 18" speedline 3 piece split rims, they are 10" rears and 9" fronts
-
Cheers guys i am just so happy to have it now, just been to a big jap and dub meet tonight and everyone loved it, even the ones who said they didn't like the wheels in the pics changed their minds
-
Well after 2 months of waiting for my supra to arrive and be roadworthy yesterday was the big day, i just want to say a massive thanks to Jurgen for all the hard work he and the boys at Jm have done on the car i am over the moon with it.
We took a few pictures outside his unit but i still don'y know how to use my camera to the best effect lol, i will get my friend to take some proper ones some.
-
Phil i really wish the car was home, it should have been with me this weekend but it got put aside again!!!!!
-
Well my JL 13TW5 subs arrived today along with my Audison bass controller. I can't believe how much bass these things give off for the size of them it is so controlled as well. Just need the car then i can start the build.
-
Yeah it is killing me, i couldn't be arsed to fit the alarm last week but i deffo have to do it this one lol. I just want to start getting my ice fitted properly.
-
I will take some more on saturday when i go back to Jurgens unit Phil, if the car is back together i am going to try and get Jurgens trade plates
-
Well the bodywork is nearlt finished, Jurgens man has done a class job of getting everything to line up nicely. Hopefully the bodywork will be done by wednesday at the latest,
-
absalute stunner, i neeed one of these in my life lol.
i think i seen you couple days ago past st roberts bit leading on to makro futher up.
In what car mate? as this isn't on the road yet.
Please excuse my question, but what's BPU?Damien
BPU is basic power upgrade which is :
Stainless steel exhaust
Double de cat with restrictor ring
Boost controller
uprated fuel pump
Colder spark plugs
Wideband Gauge
Induction kit
Fuel cut controller.
With these fitted it takes the car up to 4oo+ bhp at the fly depending on what boost you run.
-
Thanks a lot Phil that means a lot performance wise i have pretty much everything bar the fuel pump and 2nd decat to take it to BPU which is about 400bhp, that is all i want unless i can find some cheap uk spec turbos then i can go to 1.3 bar.
-
No i have not asked him yet, but i will
-
Here you go Phil some pics i took today, she is looking a bit sorry for herself with no front end on but i still love her bodywork should be done by wednesday and i am also getting the dash painted the same colour as the body.
-
Thanks phil, i will take some pics today when i go to see it. I was damaged by the loaders when it was being unloaded, they ripped half the front bumper off o they won't be the best pics lol. I went to see it last night and it is not bad but jurgen is putting me a new front bumper on, and he is not happy with the fit of the frp bonnet so is putting me a metal one on free of charge
-
Thank you Phil
I bought a Greddy profec E01 boost controller a few months ago and was looking for somewhere to mount it where it wouldn't be in the way.
I bought a spare top glovebox from a lad off Japnortheast last sunday as i thought about doing my own style gauge holder, i am going to mount my boost controller screen and my Innovate wideband gauge in there.
Here are a few pics from my progress tonight, as you can see i am trying to keep it as stock looking as possible and i am even going to try and keep the hinge so i can open it.
