  1. Welcome Elaine! Enjoy the site
  2. Welcome along
  3. Polished it out! Maybe if you look really carefully at this picture you might see a little dent on the wing.
  4. Thanks Sparks Hmm they wasn't that hard to do. I had to chop the green and white wire that goes to the top bulb holder and use a double wire connector. Then both green and white wire was extended to reach the bottom units too. The fog was abit of a paint but I'm just fussy. I'll let you know on MSN if you needs some help mate, with pics if that'll help.
  5. Sweet, looks like this is going to be a beast! I may be interested in the wheels pending price mate
  6. Haha! Why thank you sir Rims are back to black and look way better in my opinion. Gives the car alot meaner look overall! Just a few pics, sorry they're in the dark I'll get some nice new ones when my fogs have arrived and have been fitted!
  7. Happy New Year to you all! ;) I had my GCSE's this year and got the grades I wanted and got a place in the college I really wanted to go to Car wise.. Earlier this year my brother's SR was kinda my project as I use to always work on it. One of my first proper paint jobs: January 28th: Went to my first ever Starlet meet which was also organised by me, got it featured in Banzai too Bought my own SR on the 2nd of March which is a Cat C write off Organised another meet for the 15th of April when the weather was alot better My car at the time! My brothers Then he sold his car on the 22nd of April because his license got revoked Last few pics of his May 20th: He bought an engine-less Automatic 1995 EP82 as a project which I kinda helped him with Months later and my SR is looking like this Thats about it from me, but overall I think 2007 had been my year. I could only dream of having my own Starlet at the age of 15 at the time!!
  8. Sorry but the front mesh looks awful imo and so does that rear valance!!
  9. Lol yeah Sparky I kinda agree but fcuk it!
  10. Put the skirts on the car with some tape to see how they'll look Sorry about the poor quality and darkness! Started getting them ready to paint too. Got all the chips and scratches flattened out of the rear spats and gave them a nice few coats of primer filler. This is one of the cracks I repaired it with fibreglass from the back first and then gave it a coat of fibreglass on the outside. Should look fine once I've smoothed and primed it! Seems solid now. I gave it a good tug to see if the fibreglass would crack easily but I don't think so!
  11. Cheers guys Haha Tuck that made me laugh you've made me feel all proud hehe They've probably seen the build up on CSC Yellow was to be different yes, I wanted to have the first yellow 'Glanza' around!! Seeing a picture of the ZEP yellow really got me moving too! ;)
  12. Looks sweet mate, good luck with it
  13. Gutting. Second Starlet accident I've read about tonight. I hope you sort it hassle free mate I had a similar incident with mine when I took my car out just the ONCE, it was wet but I was damn lucky. The damage on my cars already gone now though but its still noticable to me
  14. Low entry? Get your arse in to Halfords and pick up a little one for £30! Does the job :P
  15. Your foglight bulb might have blown?
  16. Cheers Phil Yet another small update seen as though I've been in the garage with the car for hours! Firstly, got me a new headunit But the existing wiring was all messed up, cut and shut etc from the previous owner. So i chopped it all off and got new wiring from a EP breaker and wired it all up neatly using proper wire connectors. Needs finishing off a little though actually, which I'll do when I get some more wire connectors. I also have all four speakers working after all! Pioneer 4" in the front and 6x9" JVC's on the parcel shelf. Rear ones are shafted though so I wanna replace with some sexy new Pioneers when I have the money for them. Also got my rear clusters all wired up how I wanted them. The foglight doesn't seem to work though, I think theres a problem with the switch but I'll find out when I see to it. How the lights look (Pure Glanza styleee, even in the dark now!!) ;) Thats just with the sidelights on. You can see the bottom rows actually have clear bulbs, but I'm waiting for my red LED bulbs to arrive yet so that won't be a problem.
  17. Thats awesome mate, really looking forward to seeing this project evolve!
  18. Looks good enough to me..
  19. Well 4 months later and its still here It now has a Baileys BOV and Glanza wheels like mine Also has a stock front grille as the other one was abit messy. Still needs paiting, but I'll do that when I paint these which arrived today Genuine optional skirts and rear spats! Thanks to Dan (starlet3sgte) They have a few little cracks but I'm on the job Thinking of painting the wheels black/grey in time for the January meet too but we'll see...
  20. Nice base there, good luck with it!
  21. Mate you keep posting in the wrong section
  22. Thanks guys I found out the new motor didn't even fit so I've put the old one back on, and it seems to work properly now so thats all good! Put the bumper back on and thought I'd take a few snaps I love how such little things can make such a big difference to the look of the car. Personally I'm loving the black surrounds more than I thought I would!
  23. Brace looks good!
