    was a good night good to see everyone briefly as i managed to crawl down there well up for making this a monthly thing even if we kept it the same place the pub didnt even realise we were there hopefully we can get everyone up there next time all talking checking out the starbo's

    alright guys!! got some bad news i cant make sunday ^_^ was in for coilovers and service at my mates garage but last night my clutch went and car wont go into gear just what i need when im ment to be goin to nurburgring in 2 weeks waiting for parts to arrive im gutted was so looking forward to seeing some more starlets hope you all have a good time im pissed i cant make it sorry

    I researched this a bit and my work said that if the vehicles engine is not on the emissions machine it gets a non-cat test or not a fast idle test.

    As the uk spec starlets were made for the uk Market the 4EFE or 2EE etc will be on the machine, but 4EFTEs weren't made for this Market they are ment to get a idle or non cat test,

    you can always ask to view the mot as the garage needs to have a viewing area, so if they do it wrong you can say

    i just had my car mot'd it was tested as a cat equipped vehicle with closed loop control and had 2 fast idle tests and failed as i have the spec 2 exhuast but how can i get round this can i find this info to print of to show the bloke as he is a complete tosser anyway?

    We had a good mooch around youds buddy, looked very nice and i like the exhaust :) . Ha, yea we was wondering about your ride height, is it on standard stocks/springs?

    thanks bit of bodywork damage which i need sorting but been there since i bought it last priority atm lol yep love the spec 2 ;) yer standard suspension mate looking at bc racing coilovers in the next few weeks fingers crossed :)

    Ah right, i saw that driving out of the track as we were leaving, looked very nice. Lol spantaneous day trip out then ;)

    There was a black v I saw parked up near the burger vans but it had been on the track, had two sparco seats in if i remember rightly... Was some really nice cars up there today

    that black V would have been me :) was a great day i was disapointed on the track need to get my coilovers ASAP!! that 106 was a monster my mater 450whp evo couldnt keep with it fuck knows what he was running hope you lads enjoyed your day i did :)

    Hi I'm from Salisbury I would be up for a meet soon don't know anyone round here with another Glanza. I've seen a couple around think one might be yours Bex and I think I've seen yours Rossi. Are you going to the Max Power meet on 26th Sept?

    hey guys!

    im running a wepr ct9 power up kit with the external wastegate manifold the screamer pipe then runs from the wastegate back into the downpipe.

    my cars been mapped already im thinking about cutting the screamer pipe off welding the downpipe back over and extending the screamer pipe to have a external screamer will this affect my map or not???

    i just want noise!!! :wacko:

    im goin to the pub today with a few mates as we are planning are bits for our trip to nurburgring i will let the pub know we are planning one then i shall post a date :rolleyes:

    sorry everyone been on holiday down newquay duno if your interested in the meet in salisbury maxpower event should be good and a chance to look at alot of other cars.

    the pub werent that happy with us meeting in there carpark so this meet might be a better way to meet?

    Salisbury Wiltshire Max Power Event

    HEY ALL!

    a friend of a friend is organising a charity event on sunday 26th september from 2:00pm - 8:00pm

    the location is the old mahle factory at the high post halfway between salisbury and amesbury on the a345, postcode SP4 6AT

    promo girl competition, fast cars, modified cars, trade stands, food stalls, toilets, car clubs, dj, 45 ft inflatable assault course, 35ft bungie run and much more.

    £2 entry per car

    £2 entry for promo girl competition (winner getting a free photoshoot from trinity photography)

    max power has never come to salisbury before so will be good to show the rest of the country that the south can put on a good show.

    traders attending: knight racer, pimpinit, absolute audio, initial impact resprays, wiltshire police, west over tuning plus more

    raising/supporting 2 charities: salisbury cycle response unit and help for hero's ;)

    316 confirmed guests so far

    1727 awaiting reply its going to be a good meet the old factory warehouse yard is massive and all farm land surrounding so there shouldn't be any complaints hope you all can make it :rolleyes:

    looks good man i need to do one what handling mods you got mate?

    i did llandow circuit recently my first in the starlet my engine moads complete ct9 setup roughly around 200bhp

    standard suspension and the handling shocked me it did so well but just coilovers would make such a difference just proves you dont need it complete to do well but def coilovers :lol:
