yeh what do the boost controllers do?? where dide you get the manifold from?? how does that breather filter ontop of the cover affect your running??

last time i was involved in racing at pod was with my mate and his drag bike. built completely by himself managed to get 167mph top speed over the 1/4 with a time of 9.7sec lol id love that out of my 4efe lol. that aint gonna happen yeh spinning the tyres softens them and with the "glue" applied to the track you can get some serious traction. just make sure your clutch can handle it as last time i was the i saw an evo rip out its gearbox he he

well i got 2 12 inch subs and 2 amps about 10 ft of 22mm think mdf and the rear seats so im guessing im carrying shed loads

hmmmm well the thing is lol. i used autosol for the rocker cover and the manifold then used some serious degreaser over the engine yeaterday. then today wiped over a few bits and applied........................ dashboard polish. the stuff is so shiny and looks mint so i dont care lol

thanks mate. now i just need to finish polishing the manifold heat sheild and cover up some of the rusty parts and fixings

right i spent an hour polishing the whole engine bay this afternoon and oh my god you will be very impressed. i wish i had some pics from before. i had a mate with a proper camera take some pics tonight. you will all be amazed when you see it. trust me. be up on here soon

ok i see your point and i get the fact that there is no bhp gain but the fact is the engine will waste some of the power it could be using to turn the wheels on powering the power steering. so basically i have no power steering which mean all my engine power goes to the wheels. and yes the weight would be very slightly less.

oh i see what your saying but mine would also be quicker due to the fact the engine aint having to power the power steering . am i correct and no im not saying mine is actually quicker than anyones on here before you all wanna trade pinkslips lol

i was just wondering if someone knew what the standard bhp is from a starlet sportif without any added extras like power steering or abs or air condition or elecky windows (if that makes a difference lol) but i have added 4 spark sparkplugs 5 inch back box corolla tubular manifold induction kit just curious what the standard bhp is and what peeps think it may be with my added mods
