Alright guys, Had the car up at falkirk cruise last night and on the drive home I was driving calmly,came up to a roundabout next to the stadium and was in fifth slowed down and changed to third then tried to accelerate out of corner and the car just revved ! there was nothin, no drive atall, no loud crunches bangs or nothing? The car goes into gear without puttin the clutch down and it doesn't drive atall. Anyone had anythin like this happen to them?I've got a mate who's a mechanic at subaru and knows them very well, says it could be a clutch or a gearbox? Thanks for any help/advice/thought

this still on guys? im interested in findin out what my cars puttin out. i remember when i had the 106 that ecosse done a rr day, think 10/20 of us and they would do it for 20quid a car with a print out. think they would do that for us if we got enough cars ?

i took my plugs out and they were black dark,and smelling of fuel ? not a good sign and i guess the car is over fueling ? but this could be because it thinks it's boostin but it isnt actually so there for the fuel is unburnt?

it is definitely an ignition problem? there's a guy 100% sure it's to do with vacuum but i'm not for believing him

just changed the HT Leads and still got the problem, can anyone help ?

cheers guys,hope to hear how you get on with the manifold and decat ! if i was to get a stainless steel manifold and get it braced by a local welder would this increase lifetime?it would give me performance gains and realiability yeah ?

emm the first day i got it.. 9days ago, it was raining yes. If it was leaking i'm guessing I would hear it like an exhaust blow ? If that's what you mean then no it's not leaking yet! i ordered my HT leads from www.dcperformance.co.uk for £70, someone wrote feedback and said it took 2weeks for them to come! wish i paid the extra 20quid and got them within a few days !

well when they eventually get here i'll try them and hope it solves the problem !

yep got an hks fcd, the boost gauge and volt metre drop when I try to plant the foot. it only happened the other day there,on thursday i think, i was flying through there gees then it just juddered and i let off the accelerator as i thought i was runnin out of petrol so went to station filled up, tried to boost then started juddering !

ahh, i'll go do that now ! see, i'm quite a newb to turbo cars, never really paid much attention, usually the decat is under the car yeah?sometimes in the manifold?but the glanza one is a seperate pipe,i think ? oh, im only running 1bar just now and wouldn't be lookin to up the level anytime soon, but my manifold has a split along the top which i'll post up in 5mins when i look to see if i ave a blitz decat !

ahh, i'm lookin to buy both at the same time as i have a custom 2.5'' bore cat-back with 4'' jap cut backbox, but the centre pipe is a blitz decat..so i was told, so there's restriction in the manifold and decat pipe yeah? any good suppliers for decat pipes ?

Alright guys, i've got a few performance parts on my car but i've got a standard cast iron horrible thing which has a slight crack on the outter case. i'm looking to get a realiable one but not wanting to pay silly money for extra performance gains, would be happy with small gains and something less restrictive. i've spotted this one http://www.jperformance.co.uk/toyota-glanz...fold-p-286.html but not sure what to make of it? has anyone got this? don't want a cheap chinese metal one that will split ! cheers for any advice

got a GReddy Type-S mate. what sound would i hear if there was a leak? i've checked all my silicon hoses and they seem tight,no splits or rips i can see

Alright guys, as title states the car is running,idles really funny, it drives and misfires something awful then when i go to plant the foot it just starts to judder and pop and just doesn't pull at all ! but it still dumps so it's still buildin up some pressure i presume? any advice would be ideal, the car recently had spark plugs and the dizzy changed before i bought it,so i've ordered new HT Leads but just wanting a few more opinions on the problem? cheers guys

haha yeah there good wee cars, feel like there falling to bits i felt ! the gearbox seemed everywhere and struggled to get into reverse,it was an '03 plate so i expected better lol !

thanks guys,is there any chance that you guys have the front glanza badge for a 1996 front end ?mines is missing as you can see !and does anyone have any idea how much watanabe's go for ?i've heard 400 with a buckle in 1 wheel but not sure !
