You can get these with a different Pcd as in change your PCD from 100 to 108 so you can fit Ford and Peugeot wheels. Would be interesting to know if some one had tried it out on a starlet.

to measure the offset you need to measure the width of the rim e.g 180mm now measure the distance from bolting face to the out side edge of the rim e.g 50mm now subtract that from half the width e.g 90-50 =40 and thats your off set et40. Of set is the measurement of the distance that the bolting face is off set from the centre of the rim. So a wheel with a 0 off set has its bolting flange at the centre of the wheel.

If your car is rubbing both sides then no you don't need to adjust your panhard rod. You could just remove your 5mm spacers or get narrower tyres or lower profile tyres. You don't need to change your shocks they only effect the speed that your car moves up and down. You need to change your springs for high compression (suffer) ones because then it takes more weight to move them down. That means you can get an extra fat friend in the back.

Yes mate, you will need an adjustable panhard to solve the problem. You need one if you make any change to the ride height of the car, its the nature of the rear trailing arm design, you need to realign the back wheels to the front. They are easy to fit, most people will say take it to a garage to get it aligned correctly but if your on a budget just use a ruler and measure the distance from edge of tyre to edge of the car, but the car has to be dead flat. As for the wheel width I would suggest the 65 was code for 6.5" you could try measuring it but its not easy I think you measure the land that the tyre sits on not the out side edge of the rim.

Done a few track days and sprint race on r888 and believe 24psi is best.

Have you got a rear control rod/panhard, check out chasse & suspension section. Sound like your alignment is out, and yes that is a 6.5 rim. You can run a 185 to a 205 Tyre on that rim look at demontweeks Tyre chart. Yes standard off set is about et 38.

as above offset plays a big part. I have run 205/45/16 on a 16x7" wheel with a ET38 offset, no problem.

You need to think about what size you want and off set. 4x100 15x7 jj ET 20 would look sweet. Standard starlet wheels a 4x100 14x6 jj ET38 i think. All you need to do is have a look on ebay and see what wheels have a 4x100 stud pattern and go from there.

Mate that is some car you are buying there it looks the part and it has fantastic handling. I won first in class with that car at Werrington hill climb in 2006 and embarrassed a few at japfest the same year. Just look out for the torque steer it takes some getting use to.
